Ego generated accomplishment calls upon us to focus our strength and abilities, create a plan and work hard to achieve our goals. As we grow in soul awareness, we discover that true power needs no force in order to manifest transformation. Conversely, we find that purposely stepping into the flow of universal energy creates ease and grace in our experience.

Some get lost in passivity, never realizing their role as a conscious creator. Seek to find a balance that creates passion, conscious action and acceptance and allow it to be expressed in every aspect of your experience.

Your expression of life is unique. Your skills, talents and inspiration are meant to be explored. When you reach a point of not knowing how to define yourself, when no title seems to apply, you’re on the right track. Release the habitual need to limit your experience by adhering to a particular role. You are eternal. You are love. Let your life be filled with infinite possibility.

Today my intention is remember that there is much more to life than meets the eye. I allow myself to be led by love.

Spiritual awakening is a continual process. The metaphor  typically used is a spiral of energy. Life’s journey is the progression along that spiral – facing similar lessons but each time from a higher perspective. As we near the center, things progress more quickly as we learn to recognize and move through the process of challenge, quiet observation and conscious action (or inaction).

Be gentle yet ruthlessly honest with yourself as you evolve. You have always done the best you can based upon your level of consciousness, karmic agreements, imprinting and life path… and so has everyone in your life. We are simply walking one another home.

Be willing to be open-minded and responsible for your own state of consciousness in the present moment. This is the key to transformation. As you evolve, the world around you is transformed.

Today my intention is be kind and gentle with myself as I grow and change. I am a lifetime student of love.

King, Priest, Sage, Scholar, Warrior, Server or Artisan, each of us has a role that provides the underlying energy for the experiences we have in our lifetimes on this planet.

Kings and Warriors are moved by action and tend to accomplish a lot. They are physical in their approach to life.

Priests and Servers are more spiritual and compassionate. Their concern is the welfare of others and strive towards growth and the higher good.

Sages and Artisans express through their creativity, speech and humor.

Scholars are more neutral. They seek to absorb knowledge through the gathering of information and experience.

When you discover your role in the tapestry of life, realize that your expression of it is a vital aspect of the world we are creating together. Live it to the best of your ability with the knowledge that you are a master in the process of awakening.

Today my intention is to view all experiences as opportunities for me to learn and grow.

The soul is the place where love, wisdom and bliss reside. The process of enlightenment allows us to drop layers of limited perception so that we may enter into complete fulfillment and abundance. Your inner dialogue dictates your ability to access this realm of infinite possibility. Keeping your thoughts, words and actions aligned with your inner wisdom rather than ego-generated fear is powerful spiritual practice.

True power comes from within. As you move through your life with a clear sense of empowerment and purpose, external factors cease to have any impact on your sense of self. When we discover the Oneness that connects us, we begin to look upon ourselves and one another with compassion and reverence.

Live fearlessly. Focus upon the journey rather than the destination. Practice being detached from outcomes and see yourself as a source of profound peace and kindness.

Today my intention is to be a source for the love, light and laughter of the Divine.

All interpersonal conflict arises from wanting someone to be different than they are. This one misguided approach to life is a source of great distress for many and it plays out in myriad ways every day.

Become a compassionate listener. Pay attention without internal commentary and cultivate the ability to see beyond the conditioning of the mind.

When we approach one another with genuine interest and acceptance, something miraculous happens. The other person begins to feel safer. They drop some of their defenses and a conduit is opened which allows for an authentic moment of connection.

See if you can practice this with each person with whom you speak today. Truly listen and choose to honor their path as sacred. Ask probing questions and see if you can discover something new. Expand your consciousness through conscious interaction.

Today my intention is to love what is.

Imagine a world filled with wonder and a life that sparks your enthusiasm and inspires you to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. Seek to fill your experience with the energy you seek to explore within yourself.

Joy transforms as it is shared. In each moment we have an opportunity to allow the love of the Divine to shine through us sending ripples of energy throughout the Universe. The smallest interaction can ultimately have an incredible impact.

For those who have yet to awaken, life can be a fearful place. They see through filters that translate every event in a way that supports their fear or anger, and often don’t understand that they have the ability to create anything different in their experience.

Everyone is a master in the process of awakening. The only difference between us is where one resides on the Path of Transformation and their current level of consciousness. Choose to fall madly in love with life and let joy be the motivating factor in your experience.

Today my intention is to experience this moment with joy, enthusiasm and acceptance.

Each of us is continually in the process of creating our own reality. Everything you choose to experience has an effect on your energy and your state of consciousness. From the music you listen to, the reading material you choose, the people with whom you surround yourself to what you choose to think, you are constantly in the process of creation.

Your state of consciousness is determined by the amount of peace you have in your life. As you grow in awareness, you’ll naturally want to surround yourself with energy that supports you. One of the most important aspects of spiritual awakening is observing how you respond to challenging experiences. They provide the opportunity to see the effect of conscious energy in motion, to strengthen the skills you are cultivating as well as your ability to accept what is.

Begin small. The next time you feel frustrated ask yourself  if it’s possible to leave the situation or change it. If so, apply your skills and see if you can shift the energy. If, despite your loving efforts, nothing changes, move into acceptance.

Each of us is responsible for our own joy. Step into the role of conscious creator and love your life.

Today my intention is to create a space in which transformation can occur.

Life will always provide you with the experience best suited for your soul’s growth. Whether interacting with others, processing your thoughts in solitude or bearing witness to planetary changes, seek the gift in the present moment. The best way to dissolve the illusion created by the ego is non-reaction. Be the conscious observer and allow kindness to guide you.

The ability to recognize the sacredness and the Divine essence within all life increases your awareness. The goal of higher consciousness is absolute acceptance and compassion. When immersed within a particular lesson, it can be challenging to see through the mechanisms of the ego. Should you notice any reactivity arising within you, step back, become silent and allow  stillness to flow through you into the situation.

Today my intention is to experience love wherever I go. Loving people fill my life, and I find myself easily expressing love to others.

Most people treat those they love and respect with compassion. They offer supportive words, a hug when required and provide kindnesses to lift the spirit. But when the focus goes inward, the voice of criticism appears. We tend to be much harder on ourselves, subjecting the psyche to an endless diatribe of expectation, recriminations and judgment.

It’s time to see the sacredness in yourself, to honor the past that has brought you to this moment and to celebrate the strength and wisdom you have cultivated along the way. Choosing to see the perfection in the imperfection is a good place to begin. Make a point to observe your self talk and focus on being loving and supportive only. Do not allow corrosive  words to create patterns of limitation and lack. You are here to discover Oneness with all life and the unique energy you bring to the planet with your smile.
