The wise heart

Be at ease. Choose to be a lifetime student of love.

“The willingness to simply rest in the physical experience of your life is the key to spiritual transformation.”
~Ezra Bayda~
You are perfect in your imperfection, a master in the process of awakening. Know that you are right where you need to be and all will be revealed in the perfect way at the perfect time. Cultivate the art of being at ease in the face of the unknown, for is a powerful aspect of your spiritual growth.

When faced with a challenge that seems overwhelming, mention it during your gratitude walk. One way to honor the process of your awakening is to acknowledge that you are grateful for the challenge (even while it is still in process) and willing to accept the gift or wisdom it will ultimately bring into your life experience.

Your willingness to be open accelerates your growth. Anything can be transformed from frustration into empowerment.

Today my intention is to remember that everything I experience plays a significant role in my spiritual transformation.

Happiness and harmony

Your energy is limitless. No matter what you have discovered so far, remember this: you have barely scratched the surface of your potential.

“Overflowing energy becomes celebration. When the energy is dancing in you, in unison, in a deep harmony, in rhythm and flow, you become a blessing to the world.”
~Osho~
As you learn to accept life energy as a loving dialogue with the Divine, you will be enriched, your experiences will sparkle with new vitality and your mere presence will help uplift the world.

Know that you are safe. Fear blocks the process and creates limitation; therefore, we must learn how to drop fear as we look inward. This beautiful energy and potential is the essence of your being.

Any action taken from higher states of consciousness is an expression of love. Focus on the joy of the present moment rather than desired results, and the movement of your life will be a dance rather than a struggle.

Today my intention is to live in wonder and celebration.

Be a loving witness

Observe without judgment. Be willing to see clearly.

“If you understand it, the world is a great device to make you more conscious.”
~Osho~

The most loving gifts that you can give to the world are loving and peaceful interactions. This comes from learning how to calm the mind. Rather than focusing on meditation – calming the mind for 20 or 30 minutes, and then going about your day – seek to make your entire day a living meditation. Bring stillness to the Now and become a conscious witness to whatever life has to offer.

Miracles are all around you. Love flows into you from all dimensions and every moment offers an opportunity to expand your consciousness. No matter what you choose to do today, do it with awareness. Let each step you take bring a new quality into your experience. When you eat, slow down and savor each bite with gratitude. Look at the world without commentary and simply appreciate the journey.

Today my intention is to Be Here Now.

What brings you joy?

Choose joy.

“Spirituality is not the practicing of any virtue; spirituality is the gaining of a new vision. Virtue follows that vision; it comes on its own accord. It is a natural by-product.
When you start seeing, things start changing.”
~Osho~
This is the moment of transformation. It is filled with limitless possibility and you can choose to experience it however you wish. One way to create more joy in your life is to put down the burdens that you carry.

Let your actions be guided by love, kindness and joy. Work, done for the joy of the moment, ceases to feel like work. It becomes a living expression of your vibrant and beautiful energy.

Present moment mindfulness allows you to align with the light of the Divine. This transforms your vision and brings you into a world of bliss. Be open and joyful and life will respond in wonderful ways.

Today my intention is to trust.

Know that you are a master in the process of awakening

You are a master in the process of awakening.

“You have to create your own path to your own temple. No help is possible, and it is the grandeur of humanity, a tremendous dignity, that you can follow only your own path.”
~Osho~

Your purpose is to awaken. Each time you choose to take responsibility for your own state of consciousness, you begin to experience inner mastery. It’s time to stop seeking validation from others – your peace is your own responsibility. Immerse yourself within your individuality and realize that all change comes from within.

When you allow others to make you angry, you give away your power. When you replay old arguments or challenges repeatedly in your mind, you give away your power. When you find yourself wishing that someone would change or lose yourself in judgment, you give away your power. Repetitive and limiting thoughts will never bring you peace. You can redirect your energy in a way that is healing and fulfilling only by being fully present and aware in the present moment. A deeper connection with life awaits.

Today my intention is to be patient, to move forward with grace and trust. I know that I am right where I need to be.

Whispers and small kindnesses

Let your life be a dance with the Divine.

“Our heartbeat is part of the universal heartbeat. And it is not a dead universe; it is immensely intelligent, conscious, sensitive. It is divine in its every dimension. But you have to learn participate in the dance.”
~Osho~

The dance comes alive when the dancers learn to communicate with the subtlest and tiniest of clues. To all outward appearances, the movements are synchronized and magical; however, it is merely the language of acceptance, surrender, trust and empowerment brought to life.

Recognize the gift of life itself. Choose to remain in awe of the beauty that surrounds you and your experience will be filled with joy and celebration. Sometimes the warmth of the sun or a breeze that caresses the skin will be enough to awaken our senses. We come home to ourselves when we approach each moment with wonder and awareness.

Today my intention is to listen.

Think differently

Think differently. Be different, embrace your unique way of being in the world.

“That we are all one does not mean we are all the same. To truly awaken is to experience Oneness in a world of difference.”
~Ezra Bayda~

As an awakening spirit, you may have noticed that you view the world quite differently than many of those with whom you interact. Most people on the planet are Mature and Young Souls. As Old Souls, we must learn to bring light to our life situations – often in the face of great opposition.

Your journey is unique. Choose to be led by passion, joy and optimism while you explore the world from higher states of consciousness. Your life becomes your message when you live aligned with your inner wisdom and grace.

Often the voices of the uninitiated and those still lost in unconsciousness can seem loud and intrusive. The lower vibrations must resort to force in order to feel heard. Wisdom speaks softly. We must be the change we wish to see in the world.

Today my intention is to live with an open heart.

All is perfect, whole and complete

The more you share, the more you will have.

“If you live totally, intensely, then you are free, you have lived the moment and it is finished. You don’t look back and you don’t look ahead, you simply remain here now.”
~Osho~

You are right where you need to be. Life is unfolding in the perfect way for the next phase of your souls growth. You cannot make a mistake. You cannot become lost (although at times you may believe you are) and you are loved and supported on every level of existence.

Whatever you choose to experience, immerse yourself within it. Let the flames of passion consume the illusions until you are left only with the truth of your infinite, Divine nature. Become lost within the beauty of life. Let it inspire your journey and discover the liberation which is born of celebration and discovery.

Today my intention is to live this moment fully.
I am a lifetime student of love.

Living as a conscious co-creator

Everything you experience has meaning and purpose.

“When you surrender to what is and so become fully present, the past ceases to have any power. The realm of Being, which had been obscured by the mind, then opens up. Suddenly, a great stillness arises within you, an unfathomable sense of peace. And within that peace, there is great joy. And within that joy, there is love. And at the innermost core, there is the sacred, the immeasurable, That which cannot be named.”
~Eckhart Tolle~

When we cling to ideas of how circumstances should be, we create suffering in our experience. Resistance indicates that we are fighting the flow of life, and yet many people have difficulty accepting change. We must honor and appreciate the highs and lows of life – all have purpose and meaning for our growth.

Our world is an experience of opposites and contrasts. Every situation is cyclic and impermanent, yet we often still choose to cling to mental ideals of perceived ‘rightness’, even when it causes us pain.

When you accept life as it is and choose to act within it from the highest level of consciousness possible, you create freedom in your life situations. Grace and ease will flow through you and you’ll discover that you are no longer affected by the mechanisms of the ego.

This allows you to be free to enjoy people and circumstances while they remain in your life. Each moment then becomes an expression of joy that cannot be affected by outside experience.

Today my intention is to honor every aspect of my life as sacred. This is the moment of transformation.

Happiness is a state of mind

Happiness is a choice, so is unhappiness.

“Inconsolable suffering can console us by making us feel special. But this feeling of special-ness diverts us from true freedom.”
~Ezra Bayda~

In his book, Beyond Happiness, Ezra Bayda teaches how to reach true contentment and that choosing to bring a sense of presence and awareness to the present moment can remove what seems to block us from happiness.

Utilize these three questions throughout all of your life situations, whether mundane or intense, and observe what arises.

  1. Am I truly happy right now?
  2. What blocks happiness?
  3. Can I surrender to what is?
Unhappiness can range from subtle dissatisfaction to outright anger. It’s important to periodically bring awareness to the Now in order to wake us from the world of illusion. Sometimes it can be challenging to determine what is truly causing anger to arise – the mind may want to say, “I don’t know” or shift into blame. Attempt to break through this by recording your thoughts or using a journal to see what patterns emerge. Surrender is not apathy or resignation; rather, it is an empowered decision to drop resistance. You have the ability to choose happiness Now.

Post these three questions where you’ll see them often – at work, in the car, around the house – and use the moments of your life as conscious spiritual practice.

Today my intention is to be content.
