  • Allowing What Is

This moment, whatever if offers, is the place where your spiritual work can be done.
\”We dread the helplessness of losing control. Yet freedom lies in recognizing the reality that some things are ever beyond our control – and the only option is to make peace with helplessness itself.\”
    ~Ezra Bayda~

The challenges we face, whether personal or global, provide opportunities to rise above old ways of being. Moments of intensity or disruption call upon us to find common ground and compassion, to reconsider priorities or to extend a hand in kindness. No matter what unfolds in your experience, know that it is exactly what is required for your souls growth.

Often, when change is required, disruption will come to shake things up and break us free from patterns that have created stagnant energy. Once the dust settles and we process the lessons and insights available, we\’ll discover a new foundation upon which to build as we move forward. In spite of how things appear, everything works toward the highest good of all involved.

Together we rise. Our sojourn on this planet leads us through the illusion of separateness to the truth of our connectedness… and at the core of everything? Love.

  • Know Thyself

There is nothing more empowering than being consistent, inspired and authentic.

“Change, freedom, invention and liberation are all attributes of [disruption]. The inner strength you have funded until now in your life is your support and guide at a time when everything you’ve taken for granted is being challenged.”
    ~Ralph Blum~

You are far more than the experiences of this life. Underneath the concept of what role you play, your likes and dislikes, goals and dreams, fear and desire, is the true infinite nature of your divinity. You\’ve cultivated a life filled with opportunities to know yourself at the deepest level.

Practice looking beyond the obvious. Create silent spaces in your experience to explore the vastness of the infinite. See your life as an adventure knowing that you have the ability to emerge from any challenge with surprising courage and resilience.

To know yourself as Consciousness having a human experience frees you from being dependent upon outcomes. A playfulness comes into your life and you\’ll discover the joy that is your true nature.

  • The Magic of New Beginnings

Taking a leap into the unknown accelerates your inner growth.
\”The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can\’t be organized or regulated. It isn\’t true that everyone should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.\”
    ~Ram Dass~

When you venture into the unknown you have the opportunity to discover and cultivate aspects that have long laid dormant and seek expression. Your soul begins to shine with an inner light. Fear brings your attention fully into the present moment while courageousness allows you to move forward anyway.

When we walk life\’s journey without a road map, we allow room for the Universe to surprise us. The ego’s desire to plan and prepare prior to taking risks only blocks us from the miracles that will inevitably be drawn into our experience.

Choose to see everything as an opportunity to expand who you are. Even failure has great beauty to share, and indeed, failure leads us to levels of potential that can never be discovered when things are flowing effortlessly.

  • This Moment is Sacred

This moment is alive and filled with infinite possibility.

\”When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.\”
    ~Marcus Aurelius~

Awaken the heart of compassion. Scatter seeds of joy throughout your day, pausing to appreciate the uniqueness of it, the beauty of it. Remind yourself often to be aware of the gifts that are all around you.

It can be easy to get caught up in the drama of daily living. We live in a world filled with distraction but also one of inspiration. Each of us has an opportunity to choose how we wish to experience the present moment. When you begin the day with mindfulness and gratitude, you set the stage rather than react to whatever life has to offer.

So, how can you bring your meditation to life? By seeing the physical world as a spiritual experience… by experiencing this moment as sacred… by allowing kindness and compassion to guide your decisions.

Be open to change and willing to receive the unexpected. Your life’s purpose is to awaken. To be awake is to be aligned with joy.

  • One With Everything

Oneness calls upon us to live in a way that is purposeful, sacred and connected.

    “The whole of planet earth
    is a sacred site.
All people are the chosen people,
and the purpose of our lives
    is a spiritual one.

May we care for each other
and for the earth, for everything
    relates to everything else.

    Feeling this Oneness,
may we radiate the light of love
and kindness that all may live
    in unity and peace.”
    ~Radha Sahar~

Something powerful happens when we embrace one another in love. A synergy awakens and the collective energy expands, bringing an entirely new vibration into being.

Tending to your own state of consciousness ensures that you will bring the best version of yourself to all of your interactions. When approaching a situation, ask “What do I have to offer?” Give of your kindness, time and attention with the selflessness born of a awakened heart.

There is no limit to what we can do together. We have the opportunity to be frequency holders for one another in order to create a space where a transformation can occur.

  • Transforming breakdowns into breakthroughs

Nothing is more important than your state of consciousness.

\”Breakdown is when you don\’t know any meditation and your logic becomes irrelevant. Then there is a breakthrough: you enter into a new world, a new vision, a new perspective.\”
    ~Osho~

In moments when blockages seem to keep you locked in old patterns and you find yourself at an impasse, it’s time to do something… anything!… to release the energy and move forward. There is great power to be found within the intense shake-ups of our lives. We move into a phase of breakthrough, where old limitations and beliefs are shattered. When the dust settles, whatever remains provides a strong foundation for the next phase of your life and you’ll be amazed at the vitality and empowerment you discover.

The object of spiritual awakening is to transform breakdowns into breakthroughs. The greatest adventure you can experience is to face a challenge from a high level of consciousness. Yes, chaos is possible (and likely guaranteed) but through willingness and awareness, your experience can be transformed into one filled with meaningful insights and empowerment.

It’s one thing to have spiritual knowledge, it’s quite another to apply it successfully to life situations when you need it the most. You are discovering and cultivating the tools that can transform your experience to one of mastery.

You have an opportunity to share your insights, love and laughter. With this newfound freedom, allow yourself to be liberated and rise above. The divine light of your soul is one of purity and radiance – you are being asked to recognize the divinity within you and present it to the world through your conscious approach to life.

  • Collective Awakening

We are all deeply connected to one another.

\”You and I are a force for transformation in the world. We are the consciousness that will define the nature of the reality we are moving into.\”
    ~Ram Dass~

Everything is connected. What harms one, harms all and what heals one, heals all. We are stewards of the planet and all the creatures upon it. In order to care for one another, we must begin by dropping judgment. Compassion calls upon us to seek what unifies us rather than fear what divides us.

The world is our reflection. As we awaken, the world around us is transformed; therefore, all change begins within. When you move into higher consciousness, your perception will broaden. You’ll begin to see things in a new way and discover what infinite possibility truly means. It\’s time to give yourself the gift of freedom.

Find joy in the small things. Love who you are. Honor your path as sacred and express gratitude for those who have played a role in your awakening. Your unique and beautiful energy sends waves of transformation throughout the Universe.

  • Blessings

Your life is a sacred expression of the Divine.

May I be the medicine for those who are sick, a partner for those who are lonely, a bridge for those who need to cross over, and a light for those who are blind.
    ~Buddhist Prayer~

Allow the abundance in your heart to overflow. In your sharing, you\’ll discover a limitless wellspring of love, joy and laughter. You can experience the present moment without attachment while you explore the myriad possibilities of who you are. Seek to approach projects and passions with a sense of creativity and fulfillment. Become a loving reflection that helps others to recognize their own beauty.

From the center of your being, the energies of body and spirit combine in an outpouring of patience, love and compassion. This center can be accessed through meditation, gratitude, music, artistry, conscious breath or contemplation. Openness and acceptance will heal your life and also help others to to find their own balance.

We are ready to release the illusions that separate us from one another. The dance of awareness is a constant process of transformation, of growth and intuition and insight. Something new is ready to emerge.

  • Cultivating Inner Wisdom

Inner wisdom comes from a peaceful place of silence where we can step into the gap in order to see more clearly.

\”The innermost light, shining peacefully and timelessly in the heart, is the real Guru. All others merely show the way.\”
    ~Nisargadatta~

Never accept appearances. Seek to look beyond the mechanisms of the mind, the roles that people play, projections and false personality. The truth lies veiled in light and an important aspect of the journey of the spiritual seeker is to retrain the mind. As each layer of resistance and distraction is cleared, we encounter perception shifting moments of awe, gratitude, joy and bliss. With practice, these beautiful frequencies become easier to access and incorporate into our daily experience.

The human condition creates mind-made traps that restrict our ability to see. The doorway to wisdom is in the Now. You can journey inward from where you are. Sit in stillness and focus on conscious breathing for several minutes. Just be. Listen. Feel. Without any commentary, simply bring your awareness to this moment and enter it fully. Beyond appearances, you may sense an energy that is infinite. You may feel your heart open. This is the beginning of enlightenment.

  • Spiritual Evolution

Courage is not the absence of fear. It is the ability to walk forward in spite of the fear.

“The willingness to open to life’s difficulties does not depend on liking them.”

    ~Ezra Bayda~

When challenges arise, when we encounter loss or disappointment, experience the upheaval of the unexpected, the first response is often to think that something is wrong and that it needs to be fixed. This is our natural human tendency.

The spiritual seeker has a greater ability to bring higher consciousness to these moments of challenge. Observing the ego-mind response or reactive instincts, we can choose to pause, recognize repetitive patterns and open to the messages inherent in the present moment.

It can be helpful to utilize questions that move you into a higher level of awareness. Traditionally, one might ask, “What is this?” using the question as a koan to break free from rational thought.

All the words or explanations we use are merely pointers to higher truths. Beyond the lessons we receive from life’s duality and contrast is the law of love, the peacefulness of evolution. To see clearly, we must be present with what is and work with it, rather than against it.
