Peace and Magic and Wonder

“The moment you enter the Now with your attention, you realize that life is sacred. There is a sacredness to everything you perceive when you are present. The more you live in the Now, the more you sense the simple yet profound joy of Being and the sacredness of all life.”
~Eckhart Tolle~

Beyond the mechanisms of the mind, beyond the cacophony of life and the intensity of emotion and desire, stillness resides. Limitless possibility is accessible within this spaciousness and we can choose to enter inner stillness at any time.

Cultivate the ability to quiet the mind and be present. This will allow you to see beyond illusion to recognize the sacredness of your true nature and will ultimately bring a greater sense of peace and joy into your life experience.

Mastery calls upon us to take personal responsibility for our state of consciousness in the present moment. Clarity arises from the stillness and we eventually discover that no matter how things may appear, all is well.

This wonderful world of illusion is very real for us, as are the emotions and insights that we experience. You can choose to create your own reality… and that’s the joy of awakening.

Presence in Silence

“Silence is not the absence of something but the presence of everything.”
~Gorden Hempton~
.
If you can’t find the words to explain your beliefs, you’re on the right path. We can use words as signposts, as pointers that lead us in the right direction; however, by their very nature, words are limiting. Have you ever had a dream, loved a novel, been moved by music and found the experience diminished when trying to describe it to another? That’s because the awakening you feel is bigger than mere words can express.
.
When you experience something so transformative and enlightening, let it speak through the peaceful silences of your highest nature. When you allow your life to be your message, the meaning is understood by those who bear witness your authentic energy in motion.
.
These are the gifts we give the world. Once we know that enlightenment can’t be explained, possessed or achieved, we can then begin the delicate operation of teaching by example. Seek only to live your own truth. When you bring the best version of yourself to the present moment, the future will take care of itself.

Imagination

“The most beautiful world is always entered through imagination.”

~Helen Keller~

Within the present moment there are infinite levels of perception to explore. Stillness creates space within the intensity of life and in that space resides the wisdom of your soul. Imagine cultivating the ability to walk through changes with a sense of inner grace, balance and peace. This aura of empowerment is yours to claim.

New ideas bring inspiration. Willingness to explore adds nuance and potential to the movement of awareness which is rising within you. Utilize your gifts and trust the intuitive longing of your soul. There are no mistakes, only avenues of experience to explore. This world is your playground. Every circumstance provides an opportunity to learn, and as you are transformed, the world around you is changed as well.

Thankfully, there is no end to this process. We are in a constant dance of discovery. Watch the energy as it ebbs and flows. Quiet moments happen for a reason. Take a moment to go inward, reflect and appreciate. There is far more to life than meets the eye.

Find Your Bliss

“Being spiritual has nothing to do with what you believe and everything to do with your state of consciousness.”
~Eckhart Tolle~
In the middle of a soundbath yesterday, my kitty decided to bliss out. She appeared to completely relax, receive and be at peace and it was sweet to see her demonstrate a feeling of safety. This was a gentle reminder that openness allows love to flow. Periodically remind yourself to just be in the Now – no desire, no thought, nothing to prove, no one special to be – and feel the peace that is your true birthright.
.
Life will always show a reflection of your deepest beliefs. As consciousness expands, these moments of connection become more frequent. Seek only to bring the best version of yourself to the present moment, Should you observe any thoughts that disrupt your bliss, bring them out into the light of consciousness. Rather than fight the ego, love it as a teacher knowing that your love is transformative.
.
View life’s experiences as a playground of discovery. Every interaction provides an opportunity to observe your state of consciousness. Celebrate how far you’ve come, correct course when necessary and let your journey be a statement of love.

The Intuitive Mind

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.”

~Albert Einstein~

In a world filled with overwhelming sensations and distractions, the ego-mind has cultivated a collective script that results in continued conflict and dysfunction. As we awaken, we begin to break free from the overwhelming cacophony to once again enter the stillness of being.

In that space of stillness, we can access inner wisdom. Rather than being reactive, we are able to consciously respond to life from a higher level of consciousness. The ability to slow down and go within creates a secure foundation which supports the journey of awakening.

Strengthen the intuitive aspect of your experience by trusting your instincts. When the voice of ego begins its repetitive mantra of fearful “what ifs?” simply recognize it, observe it and slow down. Ask how you can bring Presence, mindfulness or love to the situation. Most often you’ll discover that the voice of your heart directs you to do the exact opposite of what the ego insists is the right course of action.

Acting on your instincts builds a pathway of energy that grows stronger over time. The great miracle of awareness is that it transforms the mundane into the sacred.

Just Be

“Don’t be so hard on yourself
‘Cause you can’t change the world
You can’t change the world alone
Just be”

~Tommy Shaw~

Acceptance is the pathway to peace. When challenges unfold and the unexpected enters, fear often arises. This is the moment to turn inward and access your true divine nature. You can’t fix the world alone, but you can bring love and grace to whatever is in front of you in this moment.

Should you need to take action or make decisions, go inward first. Check your state of consciousness without resistance or criticism. Find your way into the power the present moment. This brief, mindful interlude of stillness brings empowerment to all that you do. In times of crisis, change, illness, or events beyond your control, realize that you have the ability to face whatever arises with a calm heart and mind.

Whatever unfolds in your experience is exactly what is needed for your spiritual growth. Life is filled with contrast and it is there we discover strength, ingenuity, the ability to forgive, compassion and tenacity of spirit. Your Presence is transformative. Love can be expressed in many, many ways and we can discover them together.

Balance

Balance is created with intention by learning to breathe deeply and enter the present moment. When beginning meditation, gratitude, prayer or contemplation, the ego is often unwilling to release control. Should you observe busyness in the mind, see if you can enter the Now by saying, “I honor this step, this moment, this breath as sacred.” Then, take one slow inhale. When done consistently, this allows you to create a space of peace for your inner work.

Music can also be extraordinarily balancing. Notice what calms you, perhaps create a playlist and use it whenever you’re ready to quiet the mind. This is another tool you that can literally shift your energy into a different frequency when feeling off balance. Your practice is amplified by utilizing unique personal approaches. Similar to a hypnotic induction, through repetition these approaches can retrain the mind to recognize that it’s time to move out of anxiety and into a healthier way of being.

It’s powerful to have a permanent sacred area in your home or on your property. With each use, you build up a store of healing energy that can also create a beautiful moments of peace and empowerment when you need them.

Humility

Love cannot exist without humility.

Seek to provide a space of acceptance for all those who cross your path. Compassion, when operating from the level of soul, is honoring every path as sacred… even when one appears to have no path at all. The awakened understand that judgement and love cannot coexist in the same space.

Expand consciousness through conscious living knowing that your awareness transforms all that you see. This moment provides exactly what your soul requires. Face it with an open heart.

Take ownership of any perceived mistakes. This opens the doors of perception. Consider yourself a lifetime student of love and simply begin with the person in front of you.

Your enlightenment is the greatest gift that you can give to the world. Non-reactivity is more than the action you take in the face of unconsciousness. It also  refers to a mind that is clear and at peace. The more aware you are of your own moments of unconsciousness, the more conscious you are becoming.

Perhaps the goal is simply to be at ease with yourself in every way possible. To be present, to enter stillness, to act with kindness –  these choices embody Love in its purest form.

The Creator

“When you surrender to what is and so become fully present, the past ceases to have any power. The realm of Being, which had been obscured by the mind, then opens up. Suddenly, a great stillness arises within you, an unfathomable sense of peace. And within that peace, there is great joy. And within that joy, there is love. And at the innermost core, there is the sacred, the immeasurable, That which cannot be named.”
~Eckhart Tolle~

As we integrate the various aspects of the Self, inner mastery and balance ignites spiritual maturity. The conscious creator learns how to harness the fiery energy within and steps into the role of conscious creator. Passion transforms into powerful creativity rather than the destructive force of the uninitiated, and from there we can express ourselves in ways that are both enriching and fulfilling.

To be your authentic self in the midst of conformity is to reveal a masterpiece of the divine. The dance of awakening activates the mystic, the shaman, the creator who knows how to drop the ego and receive. There is nothing missing. We just need to continue to work on the inner plane and recognize who we are at the deepest level.

Empowerment

The quickest way to empowerment is by taking personal responsibility for all that you experience. This creates greater insight through introspection, conscious action and awareness. Consider adding humor into the mix and watch the process of change become more pleasurable.

Blame is often used as a tool of avoidance. We project energy at another person, situation or idea to distract ourselves from looking within. Since the world is our reflection, circumstances will often arise which provide an opportunity for us to recognize what we’ve spend a lifetime trying to avoid. It’s important to remember that the core of life’s practice is joy. We can only reach that state by stepping into personal responsibility.

Everything is energy and is mutable, light and constantly transforming. Should you ever find yourself going into blame mode, simply notice, quiet the mind and examine what you are projecting outward. All blame is a reflection of how we see ourselves. This insight can be one of the most powerful aspects of your spiritual awakening.

There is a vast and infinite amount of energy available. You can access it, not by planning or thinking, but by being centered and silent enough to allow it to flow through you. This light and love awakens your potential.
