Planting Seeds of Joy

When you view life as a mystery, new doors will open. Those who are trapped in thought become lost in the mire of projection, seeing only what they are programmed to see. The only thing that transforms this prison is silent awareness. Pay attention to your thoughts and you’ll notice that they are all ideas that have been passed down from others.
In an infinite Universe, no matter how much we know, it’s only the tip of the iceberg. What we see on the physical plane is only 1% of the total picture. Therefore, as we expand our awareness, we are presented with an entirely new perception… one that changes our version of reality completely.
It is safe to be patient with yourself. It is safe to explore aspects that were previously unknown to you, for the situations in your life are always unfolding and you have yet to perceive all the circumstances completely.
There will come a time when the cosmic dance of creation becomes crystal clear in a given situation. Only then, will the appropriate course of action (or non-action) present itself, and in that moment you will become the dancer, participating consciously and fully in the Now.
Be patient, too, when aiding others on their journey. Don’t rush the process – each of us comes to understand new knowledge at the perfect time. The unveiling levels of understanding allow us to interact with one another from the level of love.
Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile, but sometimes your smile can be the source of your joy.

We walk this amazing journey of love and discovery. The threads that connect us are innumerable, constantly weaving new patterns and bringing new perspectives to light. Ultimately, we learn incredible things from one another while fumbling our way toward ecstasy.
See your awakening as a work in progress and try to create as many spaces of Presence as you can throughout your day. The challenges that we face often bring us painful awareness of old wounds or beliefs that have created the illusion of separation; however, with mindful intent, those challenges can be transformed into empowerment and insight.
You’ll know that any self-karmas are healed when there is no emotional charge around them. You may find yourself recounting the tribulations of the past, seeing them only as stepping stones to your current state of consciousness, and indeed that is the truth of your sojourn here in time and space.
When in doubt, choose joy. Find something, no matter how small or insignificant, and let it bring a smile to your face. With that smile in place, close your eyes and breathe it in. This is the breath of awareness and it will help you to create a foundation of peace in your daily experience.
Bring an open-hearted expansiveness to your experience. Try new things, allow yourself to fail once in a while. See the world as a place of adventure and discovery, for that is truly what it is. Lao Tzu called it the world of ten-thousand things – each offering a unique opportunity for you to explore the vastness of being.
Many live sidetracked by the mind-traps created by ego-driven thought. These illusions take the worst fears from the subconscious and project them onto one’s experience of reality. And even though they are illusion, they can be deadly because they block one’s ability to discover joy and freedom.
Consciousness supports your growth. Life supports your awakening. Every experience provides an opportunity for enrichment. Become the loving witness of life itself. Live totally and intensely, so that each moment is filled with the sacred gifts of love and laughter. Find joy in the small things and rediscover the magic that once inspired you.
We must learn to participate in the dance of existence. Reaction is based upon the past. Response is based upon the present. This moment is filled with limitless possibility.
