Exploring the Depths of Life

Life, by its very nature, offers no guarantees. Ultimately we walk the Path of Transformation alone – our journey is unique and each of us has our own lessons and destiny. Once you accept this fact, you may be surprised by the beauty in it, by the joy in it. Rejoice in the freedom of your soul’s expression. Seek the adventure which comes from living aligned with your truth.

Observe those to whom you feel drawn. Celebrate the friendships and connections that bring you joy for as long as your paths conjoin. When necessary, send each traveler on their way with gifts and memories knowing that you’ll ultimately arrive at the same destination with incredible stories to share.

With each new cycle, release the things, people and circumstances that no longer serve your growth. Put down your burdens and take only what is needed for a safe and joyful journey. All the experiences, mistakes, adventures and successes of your past have given you plenty of wisdom to draw upon when needed.

Sometimes new places, experiences or exploring the unknown can create anxiety within the personality. Recognize how far you have come, believe in the wisdom of your soul and honor your path by walking it consciously. There are infinite joys waiting to be discovered.

Stepping Into the Unknown

Spiritual awakening requires a willingness to step into the unknown. When you stop playing it safe and move beyond the edge of previous experience, your energy expands. Saying “Yes” to life, welcoming it all – even the moments of discomfort or challenge – allows you to cultivate new aspects of strength.

As an infinite being, there is always something new for you to discover. This is the path of lasting joy. Imagine a life of mystery and enchantment… it is there waiting for you in the midst of the chaos of human experience.

When you rise above a challenge, it changes you. Don’t wait for your life to be perfect before you choose to feel happy and fulfilled. Open fully to what is. Use it. Embrace it. In this way you can live in real engagement with the world around you.

Life is designed to awaken your inner wisdom. Consider what you have asked for on your spiritual journey and then view the circumstances of your experiences thus far. Have you not had ample opportunity to develop the qualities for which you have searched? Your sense of adventure may prompt you to courageously walk forward in the direction of your dreams.

Soul Power

“There’s no greater freedom than the freedom to be yourself. Give yourself that gift, and choose to surround yourself with those who appreciate you exactly as you truly are.”

~Doe Zantamata~

It’s empowering to embrace your unique way of being in the world. All your contrasting ways, beautiful attributes and idiosyncrasies, dreams and passions are part of the journey of your awakening. Those who grace your world need the qualities you carry.

As you awaken into the fullness of who you are, things begin to change. You’ll likely become more conscious of how you utilize your energy, with whom you share your time and the love you discover in your purpose.

Challenging moments prompt us to reassess where we are on the journey. Sometimes they provide opportunities to see wisdom and love in action or at others send us inward in order to bring some new energy or expression out into the light. Whatever you discover, allow yourself the freedom to change, to be yourself, and live a life of joy and intention.

When you honor your path as sacred life becomes a conversation with spirit. The journey takes on greater meaning as you explore, expand and share your gifts.

Intuition

May I be the medicine for those who are sick, a partner for those who are lonely, a bridge for those who need to cross over, and a light for those who are blind.
~Buddhist Prayer~

You have access to infinite wisdom and the language of the heart speaks in gentle whispers. It often comes once, creates a positive flow of energy and, if allowed to flourish, propels life into inspired and healthy directions.

The ego, on the other hand, is repetitive, fearful and clamors loudly to be heard. It can be easy for the instinctive and supportive messages of the heart to become lost in the cacophony of thought.

You have the means to transcend ego. The ability to recognize intuition and inner knowledge will grow stronger with use. Practice trusting your initial instincts so you become aware of the energy connected to Truth. This will help you to adjust course more easily when required.

Fear and anxiety are destructive flows of energy. They emerge from the illusions created by excessive thought and seeking fulfillment outside of ourselves. Travel inward. Listen to the love that flows through you – it comes directly from the Divine.

The Life Experiment

Observe how you respond to the world around you.

“The key to growth is the introduction of higher dimensions of consciousness into our awareness.”

~Eckhart Tolle~

Pay attention to how your well-being is impacted by the world around you. Part of this life experiment is discovered through openhearted exploration of our physical experience while observing how we respond to all that we encounter. Things that are enriching can be celebrated and enjoyed. Anything depleting should be released or consciously transformed.

The key is to notice when we feel more connected to one another and to the Divine. If particular foods or drink affect the body negatively, observe without judgment and choose to make healthier choices as you move forward. Trust your inner wisdom and apply that same mindful attention to music, reading material, those who surround you and what you choose to bring into your experience.

Eventually, you’ll surround yourself with uplifting energy and encounters that consistently enhance your spiritual, physical, mental and emotional experience. You can choose reactivity or purposely take an active role in creating the life of your dreams.

Conscious Non-reactivity

“When I say it’s you I like, I’m talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed.”

~Fred Rogers~

You don’t have to be a master to be peaceful and non-reactive. Just do your best to be conscious. When faced with someone angry or offensive, your greatest weapon is neutrality. Rather than lowering your vibration to meet them where they are, seek instead to pause, check your own state of consciousness, and then respond.

This slight gap between noticing and reacting allows you to connect with your higher self rather than the ego-driven personality. To be moderate and mindful is a powerful way to interact. One can still speak truth or take right action without moving into judgement. Your integrity, wisdom and awareness can be a powerful example.

We can weave higher consciousness into the mundane aspects of our life situations. Your spiritual practice is in the here and Now.

Conditioning is Attachment

From earliest childhood we are conditioned to think in a certain way. This varies from family to family or country to country, and the attachment to beliefs and ideas becomes a powerful playground for the ego.

Adulthood adds additional expectations regarding money, possessions, relationships, appearance and the like, and we are bombarded daily by merchandising, manipulation and the story that the next thing we achieve or purchase will bring happiness. Add to that the rampant ego driven judgment and opinion by social media and it can often feel overwhelming.

Awakening compels us to question these rigid sets of rules and we begin to step outside the current set of norms. We expand into new thoughts patterns, practice stillness and shed the old layers of limitation. When you truly understand your own sacredness, there will be no need for outside validation. The inner expression of peace and harmony takes precedence over the trappings of the physical world.

More than ever, it’s imperative to create spaces of Presence in your experience. Disconnect and reside in the fullness of who you are. Your spirit will see through the illusions of this world and sense the vibrant energy which underlies all things. Then, you can be in the world, but not of it.

Living Courageously

The only way to connect with all of existence is to go inward. Deeper than the stories of this lifetime and beyond the limiting patterns of belief, resides a soul who was willing to enter the challenging and beautiful school of physical reality. When you live with great awareness as the observer, life becomes a odyssey of discovery. Each step reveals new layers of wisdom.

In this free will world, nothing is guaranteed. We must believe in our potential in order to take a risk. We must explore the unknown, learn from our challenges, and constantly walk forward into the light of awareness. Too often, we hold ourselves back out of fear. From something as simple as saying “no” when appropriate to leaving a toxic situation or reclaiming individuality and confidence, we can find the strength within to make empowering changes.

Let your pilgrimage become a dance of awakening. Seek your own way of being, live authentically and remember that nothing is more important than your state of consciousness. Courage is the first step. Nurtured by faith and by movement, we grow towards the light of the Divine. Drop the ego, release attachment and most importantly, be willing to receive.

The Journey

We are here to discover Oneness through the perception of separation. Prior to awakening we stumbled, lost in the dark,  feeling misunderstood. We harmed one another and ourselves through ignorance, judgment or fear… until the soul was ready to awaken.

Then life became a series of events that pivoted our direction. Perception expanded as we began to drop the layers of illusion that blocked the ability to give and receive love. We discovered our unique way of being in the world.

You are supported far more than you can imagine and love rains down upon you from all dimensions. In stillness we can access inner guidance and cellular wisdom, receive angelic assistance, or connect with energy from our ancestors, spirit guides or healing masters.

Through awareness, we learn to trust the voice of intuition rather than ego and discover the many ways that we are connected. Whether through the commonality of experience, lifting one another up or the compassion we feel for those who face similar struggles, the end result is Oneness. What harms one, harms all. What heals one, heals all. Life is a journey inward. The whole of all existence resides within you.

Be here now. You are enough.

Personal Responsibility

Empowerment requires that we face our fears. Until we do so, they will always block our ability to love

Blame creates victim consciousness. When we choose to take responsibility for all that unfolds in our experience and how we respond to it, we become conscious creators. Our thoughts, words and actions send waves of energy throughout the Universe, always showing us precisely what we need to see.

Energy is also created from your innermost core programming and beliefs and can sometimes be harder to recognize. When this is the case, you’ll draw in interactions and situations that will assist you in seeing yourself more clearly. Blame and accusations block the ability to access your inner wisdom; therefore, immediately take responsibility for all that unfolds, knowing that it serves a purpose in the rising of consciousness.

Should you ever find yourself going into blame mode, simply notice, quiet the mind and examine what you are projecting outward. All blame is a reflection of how we see ourselves. This insight can be one of the most powerful aspects of your spiritual awakening. When you choose to approach life with acceptance and a willingness to walk forward in spite of any fear, you create a powerful momentum of insight and awakening that will lead you forward with a greater sense of grace.
