The Peaceful Warrior

“When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.”
~Jimi Hendrix~

In every moment we have an opportunity to practice the art of peace. When we align with divine love, we understand the Oneness that connects us. Each of us must nurture the aspects within ourselves that honor all living things as sacred. By dropping judgment and taking the purposeful stance of conscious awareness, we are transformed.

All of earth, the stars and sky and all that reside within, are our brothers and sisters. We are responsible for the well-being of one another. Peacefulness is an art. It is a consistent practice that we are called upon to bring into our daily experience. Learn the value of non-reactivity. We become invincible when we choose to fight with nothing. Be willing to step into your power with compassion, patience and integrity.

Rise above the illusion and you will calmly discover how to walk the way of the peaceful warrior through any challenge. Each level of your growth builds upon the last and sets a foundation for the next. What harms one, harms all. What heals one, heals all; therefore, set off into the world with the desire to enlighten, to expand and to show what love looks like in motion. This is where your true power lies.

Oneness

“As we feel the pain that all people feel in facing an uncontrollable world, compassion naturally arises – even for our ‘enemies.’ ”
~Ezra Bayda~

Collectively, much of humanity is absorbed in the mundane, obsessed with appearances and drama. They have forgotten or neglected the only thing that matters – awakening to the truth of who we truly are. Each of us is a fragment of the infinite Oneness of the Divine. The earthbound experience utilizes forgetfulness in order to facilitate the joy of awakening.

Purposely look past the roles that people play (both consciously and unconsciously). Depth of vision will allow you to connect with the soul of another and interact from a higher level of consciousness. Consider this: all definitions create limitation. See if you can stop defining yourself and others. Instead, operate as a field of awareness, bringing the vastness of soul connection into play.

When faced with opposition, remember that the other is acting from a place of fear and has lost touch with the deeper perfection of life. This may foster compassion rather than anger. Thus, your actions will be based upon love, balance and perspective.

When we connect on a soul level, something powerful happens. We experience a brief moment of Oneness, our collective energy expands and we begin to explore a new facet of love.

Union

When we come together, a synergy is created that shines brilliantly throughout the universe. This is what love looks like. It is fluid and expansive and allows us to explore life as we discover who we are in the presence of another.

In union, watch how your energies merge and change. Relationships reflect our desire for Oneness. Choose to leave enough room for the winds of heaven to dance in between and enjoy the beauty you create during moments of connection.

All relationships ultimately lead us to a greater union with the Divine. As we learn to provide consistent, loving acceptance for those who grace our lives, we experience the joyousness that results from watching them discover their unique way of being in the world.

Acceptance allows those you love the freedom to shine. In the present moment we can choose to give support and affection with a peaceful, open heart, and honor the riches and inspiration the other has to offer as sacred.

Allow compassion, kindness and gratitude to create a foundation for healthy, supportive relationships. Love with a gentle strength. Love in a way that expands your own heart and you’ll discover a well that never runs dry.

The Fusion of Opposites

“Love is the recognition of oneness in the world of duality.”
~Eckhart Tolle~

Integration is the fusion of opposites. What we once perceived as the duality of life – dark and light, good and bad, feminine or masculine – now becomes a dance of Oneness. Night does not oppose day, rather they form a united whole that blends endlessly with one another. We are the union of unique facets we cultivate throughout the journey. The seeds for all expressions of life live within us and we are the embodiment of awareness.

This blend allows for a new life, perception and a mystical union with the Divine. Experiencing is living with a sense of wonder and gratitude, discovering the connectedness with all that surrounds us while we reach out in reverence to greet each moment.

Give life the opportunity to surprise you. The voice of the Divine is everywhere calling you home to the peace of your heart. Release yourself from all expectation and recognize that you have your own dreams to fulfill and discoveries to make. When we release that which no longer serves our growth, all that remains is truth.

Daily Miracles

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
~Albert Einstein~

New perceptions expand our interpretation of life. Each time we consciously choose to bear witness to the miracles that unfold,we experience the beauty of awakening in motion. When we seek authentic joy in the sacred space of daily life, a space opens… and in this space, miracles are possible.

Honor the sacredness of the moment by recognizing it within everyone and everything you encounter. This approach of purposeful respect creates a sense of Oneness and completion. Observe life as it unfolds in it’s majestic splendor – without fanfare – and hear the whispers of love that call us home.

My healing work begins with this silent invocation: Sacred Mother, I come in honor of this person, this space, this moment as sacred. Thank you for the opportunity to be of service. What would your daily interactions be like if you chose to bring this attitude of reverence to each situation? You are the master of your own experience. Imagine a life filled with miracles, loving experiences, simple pleasures and the freedom to embrace life.

Navigating the Paradox

“It’s the paradox of the true spiritual path, but the more conscious we become of what limits us, the more limitless becomes our life.”
~Guy Finley~

Don’t try to change, simply be aware… awareness begins the process of transformation. Spiritual practice is often a blend of paradox – confusion and clarity, separation and wholeness, detachment and presence. The word paradox itself comes from the Greek para dokien which means beyond thought. See yourself as a physical expression of the Divine who wishes to experience life in it’s various forms. Teach yourself how to see through the illusion while acting consciously within the present moment. Eventually the illusion becomes easier to navigate on the path toward Oneness.

Be gentle with yourself and remain open to the potential that joy brings. No matter what teachings you embrace, you must ultimately trust your own divine nature in order to align with your truth and integrity. Give yourself permission to live consciously within the paradox without dissecting or analyzing it.

The same energy, knowledge and peace discovered by all the masters who have walked the Path of Transformation awaits you within the openness of your own heart. For all our searching, the answers lie within.

We Are One

Everything is interconnected. Because of this, even the smallest of things has the potential to show you the way back to the Divine. Looking with an open heart, see a rock, animal, tree or flower and honor its sacredness. Sense its perfection and allow it to be as it is without any commentary whatsoever. What arises is a childlike sense of awe and wonder that silently communicates your own beauty and divinity back to you.

When you discover the inner dimension of the Divine within yourself, your actions and relationships with reflect Oneness. This is how we move into the vibration of love.

Any conscious action, motivation or conversation carries the greater power of the high frequency vibration behind it. Remember, life will provide whatever experience is most appropriate for your soul’s growth. Be at peace with the present moment. Act with integrity, do your best, accept what is. This is how we live in harmony with life itself.

Today, consider setting an intention to be in total harmony with your environment: the sun, the moon, the wind, the rain and the earth. With your loving attitude you help create a world where it is safe to love one another.

Levels of Experience

“The principles of abundance, synchronicity detachment, and oneness are operative in the universe. All you have to do is tune in to them and let them work through you.”

~Wayne Dyer~

Untold facets make up the whole of human experience. There may be certain aspects of life that you handle quiet well, demonstrating an ability to approach them from a high level of consciousness and navigating successfully. This is likely the result of many lifetimes of work. As you perfect your ability to handle a particular lesson, it will no longer be needed in your experience.

Conversely, other lines of energy may be quite triggering. Should you notice any reactivity in you, observe it without self-criticism or blame and  take ownership of your state of consciousness around that issue. This is where your work lies. Your awareness begins the process of transformation.

It’s OK to be human. No matter where you reside on the journey of awakening, remember that the soul always seeks to expand and love desires greater expression. Whether sacred or mundane, every experience has something to teach. The ultimate goal is to be a well-rounded, balanced, empowered and joyful being whose energy is transformative.

Relationships

“Contrary to the romantic fantasies we have about relationships, in actuality they often push us directly into our blind longings, our dark fears, and our unhealed pain.”

~Ezra Bayda~

We wade into relationships as children and begin the process of experiencing egoic desire, often learning through identification with the idea of “Mine!” The ego builds its identity and we watch it play out again and again throughout the various phases of life. Whether challenges comes through family dynamics, friendships, lovers or co-workers, observe the repeating patterns in your experience.

The power of subconscious programming and belief is sometimes hard to see clearly. Our soulmates assist in the process of discovery. As we become self-aware, transformation begins. Once we are no longer enslaved by desire or blindly lost in the mechanisms of the mind, our relationships will then reflect health, balance and peacefulness.

View yourself with love and compassion. Likely, certain beliefs and tendencies were passed down through generational experience. Simply observe and bring loving awareness to your interactions. Spiritual transformation is a subtle process that impacts every area of your life. The illusion of separateness will ultimately lead you to experience Oneness. Honor the processes of your awakening as sacred.

Inspiration

Sometimes it’s far too easy to chat with people about the challenges we face together – war, fire, drought, inflation, politics – forgetting that what we place our attention upon grows stronger as we feed energy into it. Observe, and it’s likely that you’ll notice perfect strangers commiserating about something today… the ego masquerading as “human connection”.
I propose that we utilize love, joy and enthusiasm in order to change the conversation. I have experimented with a few questions and had the most wonderful interactions with strangers as well as people I know well. What I discovered is that the energy between us shifted immediately. Souls opened up and we were able to bond through inspiration and love, shared positive experiences that have a deeper connection than shared frustration.
  • What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?
  • Who is your greatest inspiration or has had the greatest impact on your life?
I noticed that it was occasionally challenging for someone to pick just one “best thing” and could see them mentally going through the events of their lives only to say, “Wow, I’m not sure. There have been so many.” The answers weren’t as important as the energy created in the present moment. Try it, and let me know what you discover…
