Inner Dimension

“If you can make everything you do a conscious process, you will live an absolutely Blessed Life.”
~Sadhguru~

The paradox of being an infinite being having a human experience creates a dance between wisdom and love. As we access our inner wisdom – releasing ego, competition, judgment and limitation – we discover the boundless possibilities that love and Oneness have to offer.

Both states exist simultaneously. Seek to access the inner dimension of love and purposely utilize it as the energetic undercurrent of your life. This will allow you to experience the present moment for itself rather than as a means to an end. Honor life, and therefore yourself, as sacred by experiencing the Now with intention, joy, acceptance and freedom. When you are balanced in this moment, life will fall into place.

The awakening soul learns how to access this sense of stillness and peace, even in the midst of chaotic situations. Yes, this takes practice but is well worth the exploration. Make a conscious choice not to allow another person or circumstance to dictate the level of your joy. Outside factors ebb and flow; however, inner grace is permanent, infinite and complete.

Playfulness

“See the world through the eyes of your inner child.
The eyes that sparkle in awe and amazement as they see love, magic and mystery in the most ordinary things.”
~Henna Sohail~

It is time to rediscover your innocence. After years of adding layers of knowledge and experience the spiritual seeker comes to realize the value of simplicity, childlike wonder and innocence. Thus, the path of awakening calls upon us to drop all the heaviness we have amassed and return to our true nature.

Playfulness is an important aspect of discovery because it allows us release all pretense and let laughter guide us into new realms of no-thought. Often, our striving actually pushes what we desire away from us. This energy can be reversed by moving into a state of ease and receptivity. Consider all the times you focused considerable energy trying to remember something only to have the word, idea or name dance out of reach. And then after moving on to something new, it comes to you effortlessly.

Bring this openness into your daily experience by choosing to see through the eyes of a child. Explore the immense difference between intellectualizing and hugging a tree and let your heart lead the way.

Gratitude and Awakening

“The great awareness comes slowly, piece by piece. The path of spiritual growth is a path of lifelong learning. The experience of spiritual power is basically a joyful one.”
~M. Scott Peck~
Spiritual awakening is a progression. Step by step we expand our vision, cultivate new knowledge and find ways to apply it to our lives. Though a shift in consciousness can happen in an instant, more often it occurs over time. Periodically take a moment to assess your responses to life. It’s likely that you’ll discover you process challenges differently, are less reactive and move more quickly from anger to peace. How much have you grown over the last year, or five or ten?
Ease and grace are born of experience. After facing repeating patterns meant to assist us in our spiritual growth, we finally experience a break-through and everything begins to change. The awakening soul learns to utilize thoughts and intentions in ways that are positive and empowering.
With conscious awareness, the world seems less threatening. Life becomes more joyful as we take risks and expand into new experiences knowing that each step is guided by love. When you can be at peace in your own truth and be a conduit for the light of the Divine, you’ll step into the majesty of the present moment – aware, enlightened, awake. This is your destiny.

The Joy of Experience

“In wisdom gathered over time I have found that every experience is a form of exploration.”
~Ansel Adams~

There is nothing to be gained from making life harder than it needs to be, and yet we sometimes find ourselves doing just that. in the midst of chaos we often spin a bit further into confusion before we remember to breathe and go within.

Everything in your experience can spark an awareness of your purpose in the physical world. When you open yourself to accept assistance and guidance, you create space in which transformation can occur. One of the greatest gifts you can offer yourself is to cultivate healthy detachment and trust. As we release attachment to outcomes, we open ourselves to receive greater ease and joy on our path.

Whatever is experienced fully transforms into joy, while conversely, resistance slows the process. During your gratitude moments, choose something and give it your full attention. Notice any thoughts that arise and pull yourself back into your experience. This awareness will open your heart and energy as you become the observer. Awareness is a process. These few moments connect you to universal love.

Your sojourn here holds great purpose. Seek to be grounded, centered and silent enough to experience life with compassion. From there, anything is possible.

Worthiness

“Your problem is you are too busy holding on to your unworthiness.”
~Ram Dass~
When someone doesn’t believe they deserve joy, they often sabotage their own efforts. Our beliefs create our reality. If you wish to manifest positive changes in your experience, yet carry the belief that you are not worthy or not good enough, you will create blockages to receiving the beauty trying to come your way.

Repeating patterns show us our innermost beliefs. When we pay attention, everything is a message. The act of self-observation shines the light of consciousness upon the issue and it begins to change. You will have the opportunity to try new approaches, listen to your self-talk and break free of self imposed limitation.

The belief “I am unworthy” leads to procrastination. Seek fulfillment now, from where you are with what you have. This moment is providing the opportunity to receive the love which rains down upon you from all dimensions.

Everyone struggles with unworthiness at some point in their journey. The ego will find a reason to hold on to frustration rather than experiencing the present moment joyfully. Don’t wait for life to fall into place before you choose to be happy. You have the power to create whatever experience you wish.

This Moment is Sacred

“When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”
~Marcus Aurelius~

I enjoy walking just prior to dawn and watching the sunrise. The day is filled with limitless possibility and I feel the freedom which comes from knowing that I can choose to create something amazing.

Nothing is more important than your joy. In higher levels of consciousness, it becomes easier to walk the line of neutrality within the paradox hidden in the events of the physical world. Human experiences contains myriad emotions – we deal with the loss of a loved one or face financial challenges, we succeed in regard to personal ambition or discover joy in the little things – at the core is the knowledge that all works toward our highest good. As people and experiences flow in and out of our lives, we can choose to walk in the light of expanding consciousness.
Each of us is responsible for our own awakening. Leave your friends and family to discover their own truth in their own way and realize that you’ll have the greatest impact by being an authentic and consistent example of an awakened soul. Plant seeds of love whenever possible. Nurture them with ongoing drama-free interactions and observe the changes within yourself. There’s no need to wait. Imagine the world of your dreams and begin living it now.

Be Kind

“The place to improve the world is first in one’s own heart and head and hands.”
~Robert M. Pirsig~

Everything begins with you… how you choose to start your day, what gets your attention, the things you choose to read or watch or what you put into your body. Bring kindness to every choice. Let your life be a loving conversation with the Divine.

Our universe is designed to provide experiences that accelerate growth, inner wisdom and awareness. When we understand our relationship to the whole, we participate more fully in the evolution of our collective consciousness. Enlightenment is a state of awareness that we ultimately bring into our physical experience.
We are called upon to be pure channels for Divine energy. Release the need to blame anyone and instead, choose to accept people as they are. There are no enemies – simply souls playing various roles in our collective awakening. Those who are still asleep need your love, not your judgment.
Cultivate a greater understanding of yourself and others. When you create inner balance and peace, you’ll discover that joy expands when it is shared. Let your unique expression of life spark joy in others by extending kindness whenever possible.

Stillness

“Wisdom comes with the ability to be still. Just look and just listen. No more is needed. Being still, looking, and listening activates the non-conceptual intelligence within you. Let stillness direct your words and actions.”
~Eckhart Tolle~
Silence is more than the absence of noise. It is an inner communion with peace and awareness. In the stillness we become open to receive and it is within that gap of ‘no mind’ that we can touch the infinite.
Our current experience of the world is one of bombardment – a blend of sound, marketing, opinions, expectations and ego-driven thought. Our senses are often overwhelmed. Many spend each day running to accomplish many self-imposed tasks while neglecting the one thing that truly matters – grace.
Create pauses throughout the day to appreciate the beauty around you. Stop and breathe. Find something for which you can be grateful. Imagine joy flooding every aspect of your being. Touch the realm of limitless possibility and you will discover inner sacredness and beauty.
In the midst a cacophony, stillness can be accessed by dropping your resistance to noise. Your acceptance is another gateway into stillness. As you practice being at peace with what is, you’ll discover new depths of perception and serenity. This is where inner wisdom resides.

Love Where You Are

“You have everything you need for complete peace and total happiness right now.”
~Wayne Dyer~

Don’t wait for everything to fall into place before you choose to be happy. You are an exquisite work of art in progress, a masterpiece waiting to emerge from all the colors and textures and experiences of life. Choose to recognize your value and yet continue to do your work. Take time to notice and feel the perfection of the present moment. Experience its nuance and allow it to be as it is.

One of the greatest aspects of awakening is the discovery that all is well, even when things appear to be a mess. As you cultivate the tools of greater perception, it becomes easier to embrace life… all its beauty, wackiness, frustration and joy. Nothing is more important than your state of consciousness in this moment.

Respect yourself as well as those around you. Work for the fun of it. Know that life will present you with whatever you require for your awakening. Release the need to rush through your experiences to get somewhere else. You are right where you need to be.

Simple Things

If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.
~Eleanora Duse~

The mind loves to complicate life. Multi-tasking, stories with layers of history, over-inundating with background and nuance, the ego seeks to keep us overwhelmed and disengaged from the power of the present moment.

As consciousness expands things become easier. We learn to slow down and enjoy the experience of Now. In the midst of life’s cacophony, seek to discover your own unique sparks of joy. Let the simple things awaken your soul and bring you back into balance. It is your birthright to express yourself in ways that are deeply fulfilling. No matter what has come before, every moment is a new beginning.

Expect the very best. When you live in alignment with your inner truth, life becomes simple. Choosing to honor each moment as sacred brings a quiet quality of empowerment to any situation.

Simplicity, patience, and compassion form the core of each interaction, the foundation of every relationship, and most importantly, the realization of joy in your experience.
