The Divine Triangle – Part 1

The Divine Triangle is an interpretation of life through the view of numerology. The soul enters the body at birth and begins a 27 year journey through the Youth cycle. This phase creates the foundation of our mind and character until we reconnect with the fire of the soul at age 27. At the Saturn return (approximately between ages 27-29) we are transformed by the fires of awareness, usually through an intense event that pivots the life direction.

At age 27 we embark upon the Power phase of our journey. Here we typically discover new aspects of ourselves through the expansion of wealth, family, business — learning the lessons of the material plane through experience. This chapter of our lives is where we face and drop the conditioning of youth and learn about empowerment. At age 54 we come into direct contact with the soul once again and there is an echo of the Saturn return to bring us into greater awareness.

The Wisdom cycle begins at age 54. This period is more introspective and we begin to reassess our choices and examine our lessons more thoroughly. The energy of power and accumulation often wanes as we reflect upon ways to connect the spiritual and the mundane within our experience.

It is important to explore each cycle fully. While we tend to manage to the blueprint we designed prior to birth, free will is always in play. The soul seeks to evolve and awaken and this beautiful planet is our playground of choice.

The Nature of Change

Something beautiful happens when we embark upon the winds of change. Fresh experiences require greater attention and awareness and break us free from habitual patterns. In the process of discovery, we can explore the magic of new beginnings.

It’s helpful to have a blend of consistent practice and mindful exploration. As you cultivate the understanding that all things work toward your highest good, it’s easier to flow with change when it occurs. The experiences of your life have already shown the depths of your strength, planted seeds for growth and pivoted your direction, when required.

Reside in the fullness of what is. You are consistently engaged in the process of transformation and it’s important to release that which no longer serves your growth. Clinging to the knowns of the past will create discomfort.

When going through a painful transition, losing a loved one or facing uncertainty, the ego will respond through the intellect of the mind saying, “Stop, you are standing on the abyss, it’s not safe, we don’t know what awaits.” Conversely, the soul asks you to trust that you are supported. By gathering your courage and taking one more conscious step forward, you enter the realms of infinite possibility where miracles dwell.

The Gifts of Adversity

Sometimes life is about how we face disruption. Challenges allow us the opportunity to discover the best in us. In order to rise above, we must tap into our strengths, passion, patience, compassion and courage. When we choose to transform challenges into empowerment, we recognize the gifts that are inherent in every situation.

Be patient with the processes of your own growth. Love yourself enough to appreciate how far you have already come. Observe the support you have in your life and utilize it to the best of your ability, and remember that chaos often helps us to break free from old patterns.

Whether someone walks with you for a moment or for a lifetime, be grateful for what you learn together. Seek grace in the maelstrom by bringing the peace within you to the surface. Seek to interpret your life situation through the filters of empowerment and humor. You may be pleasantly surprised at your ability to shine.

In your willingness to grow and change, you create a space in which transformation can occur. Bless the challenges that arise within your experience – they are the gifts of growth which have appeared because you are ready to discover something new.

Courage

“Don’t be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth.”

~Rumi~

Enlightenment is taking responsibility for your own state of consciousness in the present moment. Cultivate the courage to see yourself clearly. Blame and judgment send attention and energy outward rather than inward where true healing is possible. The shadows that we carry silently control our lives. They cause us to react, create drama or sabotage our joy and because of this, most people tend to deny the shadow side of their nature rather than take responsibility for it.

In order to transform shadows into empowered aspects of growth, we must turn and face them. They, like everything in the human experience, have lessons to teach and gifts to offer. Integration of our dualistic nature allows us to shine a light in the darkness, and through love, heal whatever is found there.
Higher consciousness allows us to see the world differently. It awakens a deeper understanding of the Self and inspires feelings of safety, compassion, integrity, confidence and courage. The impact on your life will be felt when you open your heart and step into your fullest potential. This moment is your point of power.

Soul Friends

“One of the most beautiful gifts in the world is the gift of encouragement. When someone encourages you, that person helps you over a threshold you might otherwise never have crossed on your own.”

~John O’Donohue~

When you connect with a soul friend, the recognition is immediate. A bond has formed over several lifetimes because of the many interactions you have shared and the feeling is simply one of coming home. Celebrate these beautiful souls. They offer assistance on your journey of awakening.

The roles we play have a purpose and those who grace your life need you to be exactly who you are. Be authentic, loving, open, vulnerable and trust that your higher Self has broader vision than your human perception allows you to see. There are beautiful intricacies in play. Each thread of experience leads us to greater compassion and awareness.

Our soul friends will sometimes act in a way that inspires us to break out of our comfort zone. This is where your growth accelerates. Be willing to trust that you are right where you need to be. Act with integrity, do your best, accept what is. There is far more to life than meets the eye.

Receptivity

“Make your ego porous. Will is of little importance, complaining is nothing, fame is nothing. Openness, patience, receptivity, solitude is everything.”

~Rainer Maria Rilke~

Periodically take the time to sit in the moonlight and simply be still. It’s powerful to make friends with the night and go into silence to receive the wisdom of the heart. In this world of distraction, awareness arises through a deep immersion within the present moment.

There are many paths to enlightenment and each journey is unique. Friendliness, universal love and passion remind us of the sacredness of awakening and we can learn much from one another. As you proceed, one barometer of progress is to observe the amount of peace in your overall experience. You may find that in many aspects, you react far differently than you did 5 or 10 years ago.

There may still be topics or people that elicit an emotional response – this is where your work resides. Let the gentleness of the moonlight soothe your soul. Give any pain to the quietude of the night. When you choose to release the things that no longer serve you, you create space in which something new can emerge. This is your moment of transformation.

Transforming Darkness Into Light

“…the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.”
~Carl Jung~
Choose to see challenges as your vehicle to awakening.  The purpose behind emotional upset is two-fold: it shakes up your life, revealing the aspects that are insubstantial as well as those which provide a firm foundation for you and it helps begin the process of releasing patterns that no longer serve your growth.

In readings, the Tower represents the turmoil we encounter when dramatic change flows into our experience. Some may feel that the rug has unexpectedly been pulled out from under their feet. These upsets can come through illness, the loss of relationship, betrayal, or any myriad of things that causes us to feel adrift in overwhelming emotion.

Should you hear yourself saying, “I simply can’t take this anymore.” Stop, and recognize that something profound is at hand. The soul is ready to shift in a powerful way and what is lost often pivots you into a new direction or allows you to discover your strength and potential.

Often these challenges hit several areas of your life at once. If you can choose to walk through the fire with awareness, not judging the situations as wrong but finding a way to reside in the knowledge that you are being supported and guided through the process, the darkness can be transformed into light.

A Journey of Discovery

“When you regain a sense of your life as a journey of discovery, you return to rhythm with yourself. When you take the time to travel with reverence, a richer life unfolds before you. Moments of beauty begin to braid your days.”

~John O’Donohue~

Walk forward and allow yourself to be drawn by a sense of wonder into the unknown. When you learn to trust the processes of your awakening, it becomes easier to experience life as an adventure. Leaving behind the need for plans and a mapped out future, we explore with the exhilarating freedom which comes from being open and vulnerable.

Discovering your inner truth comes through experience. Nothing is guaranteed, but the search helps us to grow. Allow yourself to be insecure, to face adversity and accept the challenges that the unknown has to offer. Much of spiritual awakening is prompted by the realization that there are vast levels yet to explore.

Life is here to offer whatever is needed in order for you to explore your unlimited potential. Taking one step at a time and giving your complete attention to the Now can bring new passion, creativity and clarity in to all that you do.

The Art of Reflection

“And then, when you shine, I’ll hold a mirror for you so you can see yourself within myself.”

~Petra Poje~

Everyone in your life acts as a mirror which reflects your innermost beliefs and attributes – both wonderful and limiting. What you recognize in another, you carry within. Surround yourself with those who inspire you, who respond to life with optimism and courage and offer support for your souls’ growth. Your path is to recognize and explore qualities that are ready to shine.

If you react strongly to someone when they are in the midst of dysfunction – being greedy, self-absorbed, driven by ego, angry, depressed or judgmental – love yourself enough to see that you also carry that attribute to some degree within yourself. Appreciate the other for helping you to see more clearly, then begin the process of self-observation. Awareness is the first step of transformation.

As you change, the world around you is transformed. When you no longer require a particular reflection, it will either leave your life or you’ll notice less reactivity in it’s presence. Spiritual awakening is simply a process of releasing things that no longer serve you, eventually creating a life filled with peace, clarity, joy and compassion.

Creating Space

“There’s a world of difference between insisting on someone’s doing something and establishing an atmosphere in which that person can grow into wanting to do it.”

~Mr.Rogers~

One role of the awakening spirit is to inspire change. By being a living example of consciousness in motion, we can demonstrate how love appears in the world of form. Like water eroding rock, this approach is often slow, yet yields permanent results. Forcing change is more akin to a flash flood that momentarily shifts and destroys. In order to help others to awaken, we must first create space in which transformation can occur.

Let your life be your message. Be gentle and consistent, and above all,  be authentic. The human experience is often a dance between the spiritual and the mundane, and discovering the joy of living betwixt the two. When others seem lost in ego and illusion, be the light that illuminates truth. Those seeking peacefulness and connection will emulate what you share.

You have chosen to be here now for a specific purpose. The easiest way to find that purpose is to simply reside in the fullness of who you are. Continue to explore, embrace change and be an inspiration.
