Your Inner Wisdom

All pain is self-imposed. The human condition is to rethink and reexamine and ponder the events of our lives until the memories have more impact on our joy than the potential within the present moment. As we awaken, we cultivate the ability to rise above thought, to embrace the Now and savor the beauties of life.
This is the journey. We move from limitation to liberation by facing our shadows and transforming them. No matter what has unfolded in your experience, know that you have the capability to create a fulfilling, empowered experience in this moment.
One tool is to see how many different interpretations of an event you can write. The ego will always jump into this process immediately with the heaviest, worst case scenario. Many people stop at this point in the process thinking that it’s the truth. Conversely, from the level of soul you can write a loving, evolved interpretation; however, betwixt the two are an infinite amount of perceptions and stories. The more you can imagine, the more diffuse the energy, and the more neutral you can become.
Your soul will speak in the stillness.

We walk this amazing journey of love and discovery. The threads that connect us are innumerable, constantly weaving new patterns and bringing new perspectives to light. Ultimately, we learn incredible things from one another while fumbling our way toward ecstasy.

See your awakening as a work in progress and try to create as many spaces of Presence as you can throughout your day. The challenges that we face often bring us painful awareness of old wounds or beliefs that have created the illusion of separation; however, with mindful intent, those challenges can be transformed into empowerment and insight.

You’ll know that any self-karmas are healed when there is no emotional charge around them. You may find yourself recounting the tribulations of the past, seeing them only as stepping stones to your current state of consciousness, and indeed that is the truth of your sojourn here in time and space.

When in doubt, choose joy. Find something, no matter how small or insignificant, and let it bring a smile to your face. With that smile in place, close your eyes and breathe it in. This is the breath of awareness and it will help you to create a foundation of peace in your daily experience.

Laughter

Bring an open-hearted expansiveness to your experience. Try new things, allow yourself to fail once in a while. See the world as a place of adventure and discovery, for that is truly what it is. Lao Tzu called it the world of ten-thousand things – each offering a unique opportunity for you to explore the vastness of being.

Many live sidetracked by the mind-traps created by ego-driven thought. These illusions take the worst fears from the subconscious and project them onto one’s experience of reality. And even though they are illusion, they can be deadly because they block one’s ability to discover joy and freedom.

Consciousness supports your growth. Life supports your awakening. Every experience provides an opportunity for enrichment. Become the loving witness of life itself. Live totally and intensely, so that each moment is filled with the sacred gifts of love and laughter. Find joy in the small things and rediscover the magic that once inspired you.

We must learn to participate in the dance of existence. Reaction is based upon the past. Response is based upon the present. This moment is filled with limitless possibility.

Sacredness

We are the conduits through which the Divine experiences itself. Throughout our varied, daily experiences, we can find reminders of love and support everywhere. The more balanced one is, the easier it is to be receptive to the pureness of that energy.

Seeing life as sacred is the foundation of a joy-filled journey. A conscious approach prompts us to transform challenges into empowerment, losses into blessings and endings into new beginnings.

You have incredible potential. What is needed will present itself in the perfect way at the perfect time. In that moment, you will recognize the calling of your soul and see beyond the mechanisms of the ego to the love which resides at the core of all things.

The wordless messages of existence can only be heard with the heart. Experience, feel, observe – and notice when the ego jumps in with facts, knowledge, projections or distractions that limit your experience. Moments of inner silence play a valuable role in your spiritual awakening.

Be Here Now

“No matter what our personal circumstances may be, if we ourselves become a source of light, then there will be no darkness in the world.”

This moment contains limitless miracles and it holds the key to your transformation. For those who have eyes to see, the pathway to Oneness unfolds before us. Put down your phone, turn off the tv and turn inward. Become consciousness itself.

When this world feels overwhelming and filled with conflict, it is calling upon us to bring our awareness deeply into the present moment. Our collective ego is currently engaged in opposition, loud in opinion, unbending judgment and blame that it’s becoming eerily apparent that we stand at the threshold of awakening. Egoic distractions indicate that a breakthrough is imminent.

Each of us must ensure that we are bringing peacefulness, love and compassion to the Now. Make your own state of consciousness the top priority of your experience. You will then respond rather than react. Your words and actions will be congruent and you will be a conduit of light in your life situation.

We are mirrors for one another. Let’s show each person in our experience the very best in themselves.

Embrace Your Role

“The choices of role determine the nature of experience and perception, the part which the soul will play throughout it’s cycle.”

When we choose this planet as a playground, we select a role that remains unchanged throughout our many lifetimes. This provides us the opportunity to explore the many facets of being and facilitates karmic lessons.

There are seven roles:

  • Servers make up 30% of the population and are willing to tend to others’ needs
  • Priests comprise 5% of the population. They desire to propel others toward spiritual awakening
  • Artisans are 20% of the world’s population. They are eccentric, creative and bring new things to the physical plane
  • Sages seem more numerous than 8% because they are typically quite visible. They disseminate, inform and see themselves as truth-tellers, often being talkative and quick-witted
  • Warriors help life to function. They are they doers – strong-willed, focused and single minded. They compose 20% of the population
  • Kings are natural leaders and attract love and loyalty from those who follow them. They encompass only 1-2% of the population
  • Scholars are driven to accumulate knowledge. People go to them for information or an objective viewpoint. 15% percent of the population, they also are the ones who record life’s information in the Akashic Records

All these roles combine together to create the perfect tapestry of our collective awakening. When you choose to live your truth, trust your intuition and embrace your role, life unfolds perfectly. By living in alignment with your soul’s purpose, you bring something special to the world and have a greater impact than you may realize.

Contrast

Everything plays a unique role in our collective awakening. When we release judgment and look through the eyes of love, we discover the grand beauty of existence. Light cannot exist without the dark. All of life is a movement of contrast.

Loneliness gives a deeper understanding of the gifts to be discovered through relationships. Fear teaches us to be courageous. Judgment, and the illusion of separation it causes, allows us to discover the beauty of Oneness through acceptance. Play with opposites, consciously utilizing them as aspects of your spiritual growth.

Everything is part of the the dance of love and all situations have something valuable to teach. Honor your path as sacred. Seek the answers that bring peace to your heart, even in the midst of sorrow or frustration. There is no limit to the gifts you will discover throughout this journey of awakening. Layer by layer, you will release anything that no longer serves you. Embrace the contrasts of your life and the lessons they have to offer.

Infinite Possibilities

There is a fathomless place within you where infinite possibilities dwell. Over lifetimes, you will explore the limitless facets of love, enlightenment, creativity and ways of being. Each level of exploration offers myriad ways to express yourself as you are transformed by the varied experiences drawn into your realm.

Those who are not consciously seeking enlightenment are still on this journey. Their inner wisdom prompts them along a path of discovery where new information is constantly being absorbed until suddenly, something shifts. A new paradigm emerges – seemingly out of nowhere – and life takes on new meaning. This is the powerful, natural process of awakening.

Practicing non-judgment and acceptance creates a space in which that transformation can occur. Your willingness to allow others to be exactly where they are creates a level of safety where they can drop their defenses, clearing the way for new insights to emerge.

When you choose to see everyone as your teacher, life becomes a place of empowerment and discovery. Trust the processes of your awakening with the realization that you are right where you need to be.

 

 

Your Moments of Stillness

There is no right way to enter stillness. The beauty of exploration is discovering the ways in which your unique light comes alive. Over the years I’ve found peacefulness in the small moments of conscious gratitude – sitting outside with a good book, writing in the early hours of the morning, watching the sun rise as I commune with the Divine, eating mindfully. There is nothing unusual or earth-shattering about my practice. It simply soothes my soul.
Your peacefulness is the barometer of your awakening. As you engage with life, be the observer. Notice how you respond to the unexpected or the unwanted. Simplify where you can and fill your experience with little sparks of joy. The infinite source of life itself seeks to express itself through you. Give yourself time to be. The pathway to love is lit from within and in order to access that guiding wisdom, stillness is required.

Blooming

As we learn to transcend the mechanics of the ego and rise above thought, we are able to recognize the sacredness in life and within ourselves. All that you see is a reflection of your current state of consciousness; therefore, choose to periodically remove yourself from outside distraction and just be. Experience the beauty of life without mental chatter. Immerse yourself in the magic of the present moment and in the stillness, feel the vibrant response of your soul.

When we spend time in nature in this manner, our energy is replenished. The stresses of the day become less important as simple gratitude transforms the mundane into the sacred. The small, ordinary things of life become vehicles of spiritual awakening. The laugh of a child, the love of a dog, clouds creating pictures in the sky… everything is the voice of the Divine. Recognizing this, you are enlightened.
