The unknown holds infinite possibility. When we seek to understand every piece of the workings of the world around us, we bring limitation into the equation. In a universe filled with limitless potential, it’s important to remember that no matter how much we have learned, we are always at the beginning.

There is much more to life than meets the eye. Energy connects us all and we are constantly setting new things into motion – that is the joy and beauty of evolution. Nothing is stagnant, even when that appears to be the case.

If you choose to experience life with childlike wonder, something miraculous begins to unfold. It brings a little magic into your experience and you may discover the hidden language of the Divine.

Delay

There are times when we face obstacles in our path. These moments call upon us to view our challenges in a new way. Whether we pause, think differently or discover a new perspective, the delay transforms into a teacher. Typically, the ego gets impatient, prompting immediate action; however, the best approach often begins with mindfulness and observation.

The challenges, difficulties and delays that we encounter allow us to discover the strength we have within ourselves. Each time we rise above the stories of the mind and take conscious, decisive action, we release a layer of doubt. Over the course of a lifetime, the successes and breakthroughs we experience create new paradigms.

When things are easy we don’t search for answers, seek assistance or take the time to examine limiting beliefs. The gifts that life brings us are often wrapped in challenging situations. Knowing this can shift how you view obstacles – they are not impediments on your journey, they are the journey. As you awaken, you will experience less drama and handle challenges with insight and empowerment.

 

Eternity

You are a spark of the Divine… infinite, eternal, beautiful.

With our limited human perception, it’s difficult to process the idea of eternity. Time is a construct of the mind and often it drives us to hurry through the present moment in order to get somewhere else; however, the present moment is all there is. And it is the eternal Now.
We are all participating in an exploration of separateness. The lifetimes we spend on this planet, the roles we play and the lessons we learn from one another are only the beginning of the incredible journey we share.
There is enough time. Everyone on the planet will eventually evolve through experiencing all the earth-based soul ages: Infant, Baby, Young, Mature and Old to finally discover the nature of love. Tending to your own state of consciousness will ultimately aid in the awakening of all humanity. Have compassion for yourself and for one another.

The Fusion of Opposites

Integration is the fusion of opposites. What we once perceived as the duality of life – dark and light, good and bad, feminine or masculine – now becomes a dance of Oneness. Night does not oppose day, rather they form a united whole that blends endlessly with one another. We are the union of unique facets we cultivate throughout the journey. The seeds for all expressions of life live within us and we are the embodiment of awareness.

This blend allows for a new life, perception and a mystical union with the Divine. Experiencing is living with a sense of wonder and gratitude, discovering the connectedness with all that surrounds us while we reach out in reverence to greet each moment.

Give life the opportunity to surprise you. The voice of the Divine is everywhere calling you home to the peace of your heart. Release yourself from all expectation and recognize that you have your own dreams to fulfill and discoveries to make. When we release that which no longer serves our growth, all that remains is truth.

Passion and Courage

Let your life be a passionate expression of joy. The ego creates stories to convince you that you cannot be at peace now because of unrealized goals or past disappointments. The awakening spirit learns to reside fully in the present moment, discovering that joy is only possible Now.

This moment is the field of energy in which life is experienced. What are you choosing right now? The secret of all success and happiness is being one with life.

The light of awareness within you seeks only to experience this moment – fully, passionately, joyfully. That experience is blocked when one that believes that happiness is dependent upon what happens. This erroneous belief causes us to miss the deeper perfection that lies beyond the world of form.

Joy does not happen to you or come to you… it exists within you and is expressed through you. Your role as a spiritual seeker is to bring passion for life into this moment. No matter what you choose to do, do it mindfully. Approach the present moment with joy, acceptance and enthusiasm and see where you are led.

Rising Above Ego

Prior to awakening, the mind is in control. Always comparing, seeking, distressing, planning, fixing or creating dissatisfaction with the present moment, it mercilessly controls our lives. It’s important to honor the ego as a teacher rather than see it as an enemy. It’s purpose is to maintain the illusion of separateness. This prompts our quest for Oneness.As we move to higher levels of consciousness, we become more aware of the mechanisms of the ego. We learn to transform challenges into empowerment while cultivating the ability to see clearly. The ego must then find news ways to function, so it shifts to a more subtle but still disruptive force. You’ll know ego is activated in some fashion whenever peace and acceptance elude you.

As you cultivate wisdom and taste the freedom and expansiveness that is discovered, you will begin to view the ego as a teacher – nothing more, nothing less. It then becomes easier to see through the illusion. In moments of imbalance stop and observe your thoughts. See them objectively and then consciously move into love. Every moment is an opportunity to be still and deepen your connection to the Divine.

Everything is Extraordinary

Do you ever forget that you are a magnificent, abundant, infinite being of light playing a game of discovery…? You bring something special to the collective consciousness of the planet that contributes to the growth of us all. Allow yourself to shine and relax into your potential.

One important aspect of awakening is personal responsibility. When you seek to bring mastery to all that you do, every moment, in some way, contributes to your soul’s expansion and expression. Observe yourself without judgment or condemnation.

There is only consciousness or unconsciousness. One brings peace, the other conflict. As your inner light begins to express itself, realize that nothing can ever dim the infinite beauty of the Divine. It seeks only to experience the present moment through you, bringing something beautiful to the world that perfectly completes this intricate tapestry we call life.

Divine Wisdom

Sometimes you are closer to your divine wisdom than you realize. On those occasions the Universe tends to send confirmation – the perfect book falls into your hands, you repeatedly hear the same message, knowledge makes itself known to you – it can be a delight to watch how the synchronicities unfold.

Our conditioning often leads us to place more faith in validation from others than in ourselves. These loving messages from the Divine are meant to strengthen your unique vision so that you can more easily follow the inner prompting of your heart. For many, this begins an incredible transformation that reverberates throughout their life experience.

You will awaken in whatever way best serves your evolution. Apparent losses and challenges are simply part of the game of awakening in which we are all engaged. Whether someone is consciously seeking awareness or not, their soul is still propelling them forward in the most appropriate way for the unfoldment of their journey. As we tend to our own awakening, this loving energy impacts everything and everyone around us.

Befriend the Shadows

We have been conditioned to fear the shadow side of life and of ourselves. It’s important to turn and face it; thus transforming it into a powerful aspect of spiritual awakening.

As multifaceted beings, we hold every possibility within us. What we deny within ourselves quietly runs various aspects of our lives, often sabotaging efforts regarding work, abundance, relationships and self-love.

What you react strongly to in another is a reflection of something you do not wish to face in yourself. Pay attention – this is the beauty of understanding how we help one another on the journey. It is within these unexamined, darker aspects that our true power lies.

The way to transform shadow is to shine the light of awareness upon it. From a space of love, choose to stop projecting it onto others (notice words of blame), release attachment and self-judgement, and be gentle with yourself. Healing comes through wholeness and acceptance. Sometimes you may have to traverse the dark corners of your psyche – do not reject these shadows, for they too have something to teach, and you will emerge transformed by the light of consciousness.

Gratitude

It seems that many people forget that life is sacred. They create an existence that is filled with drudgery and conflict. For them, the world feels like an unsafe place. This is the high cost of unconsciousness.
Those who have awakened understand that there is no need to postpone their joy. They can see the beauty in every situation and are deeply immersed within the Now. They do not wait for everything to fall into place before they dance in celebration of life.
With each expression of gratitude, we send purposeful energy outward. It gathers momentum, expands exponentially and returns in miraculous ways. You may discover the art of being grateful for something that has yet to occur as if it is already solid and present in your experience. This joyful, powerful visualization becomes your reality.
You can choose to create a space filled with infinite possibility. As you express gratitude for the little things, you step into a world filled with wonder and delight.
