Take time to listen
That\’s Right! All that I need is within me
In the midst of the bombardment of daily life, take time to just be – fully present, patient, easy, aware. Periodically quiet the mind and allow yourself to listen.
Meditation, however you choose to approach it, is an important part of staying balanced. All that you need resides in the space between thought and within you is a sanctuary where you can meet the Divine.
Stillness and anxiety cannot coexist in the same space, nor can fear/love or hatred/peace. Your every cell is filled with Divine Intelligence and, in awareness, the Universe responds.
Many people say that they don\’t know how to meditate or can\’t stop thinking. This is merely a product of the ego that sabotages you before you begin. Just sit and be. Listen to the sounds you hear without identifying or categorizing. Notice the beat of your heart, subtle noises around the house or outside, and take one conscious breath… then another and another.
Today my intention is to let my life be a loving and constant communion with the Divine.
