Our attachment to outcomes creates a narrow, self-centered view of life. Attachment comes from the egos fear of losing control; however, freedom comes from realizing that some things are beyond our control. The only option is to make peace with helplessness itself and create a sense of ease and grace – even in the face of the unknown.
Should you ever feel overwhelmed by the enormity of infinite possibility or face procrastination, choose one task and do it mindfully. Be fully present and engaged with whatever you choose to do. Movement will naturally follow. Mindfulness allows us to focus on the Now while setting conscious action in motion.
Notice the moments in life when you create limitation. These self-defined boundaries trap us in known patterns. Be willing to take a risk without attachment to the end result. Act from the heart and allow life to unfold as it will.
Today my intention is to remember that the gateways to wisdom and knowledge are always open to me.
