All of life speaks

When you pay attention, you’ll discover messages are all around you.
“Every truth passes through three stages before it is recognized. In the first, it is ridiculed. In the second, it is opposed. In the third, it is regarded as self-evident.”
~Arthur Schopenhauer~

Resistance to the new is a natural part of the process of evolution. When we begin to work on a particular aspect of our growth, things will initially tend to become more challenging for a moment because our attention is focused around releasing that particular pattern from our experience.

You begin to work on changing your consciousness around prosperity and immediately lose your wallet or get hit by a big expense. When seeking to cultivate unconditional love, someone tremendously difficult to love arrives to assist you with this endeavor. Seeking to become more present, you encounter distracting circumstances. The apparent backwards motion of energy indicates that the work you are doing has value. See resistance as a sign that transformation is at hand.

Messages will come through many channels to assist you in your development. You may discover inspiration in nature or someone you meet may provide new insight. Wisdom is often delivered to us in many ways until the message is received loud and clear. Don’t go back to sleep…

1:4 Formula

Divine energy is full of living, expanding, infinite potential.

“That which I seek is fully expressed within me. Therefore, I have no unfulfilled desires. All is complete. This total fulfillment is etched permanently in my heart. I see it as four patterns of light, the sacred diamond blazing in consciousness with the I AM truth encompassing it.”
~John Randolph Price~

When working through a challenge it can be helpful to utilize the 1:4 Formula. Whether writing or speaking, purposely choose to focus the majority of your energy on the positive within the situation – use one sentence to briefly and succinctly state the challenge and four to explore the lesson, gift, possible solutions and conscious way forward.

See yourself as an expression of the love, light and laughter of the universe. Everything in your experience is designed to bring your true sacred nature to the surface. Ultimately, this point of view creates a gratefulness for the challenges we face and allows life to become the vibrant, empowering gift that it is.

Your thoughts have a powerful impact on your energy; therefore, it’s important to direct them accordingly. Bring a higher awareness to what you contribute to our collective consciousness. When every thought, word and action is in alignment with joy, miracles begin to unfold.

Each journey is unique

Let your life be your message.

“An ordinary man seeks freedom through enlightenment. An enlightened man expresses freedom through being ordinary.”
~Adyashanti~

It can be challenging to watch the struggle of someone you love; however, it’s vitally important to allow space while they find their own way to enlightenment. Parent, child, friend, lover, partner – every path is unique and the most loving thing that we can do is provide support as they discover the insights and strength that will transform their experience.

Some can become frustrated when others don’t listen to their wisdom and advice. Gently speak your truth once and then demonstrate what that looks like on the physical plane through your own actions. Your love and compassion will speak far louder than any advice you may have to give. When you are authentic and consistent, those who are ready to awaken will notice and benefit from what you have to offer.

Like a drop of water that eventually erodes rock, consistent conscious action creates permanent change. Your awareness can be a gentle and transformative force for good in the world.

Gratitude

Gratitude transforms any challenge into empowerment.

“Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies… those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.”
~John Milton~

You have the power to transform your life experience, and it begins with the consistent practice of gratitude. First thing in the morning, prior to looking at your phone, having coffee or beginning your day, spend a few moments outside and say out loud all for which you are grateful. This moment is filled with limitless possibility. Therefore; the conscious act to begin with gratitude sets the tone for how you will choose to experience your day.

Begin with the easy things such as the fact that you have a safe place to sleep, a fridge filled with food, loving friends and support. Move on to whatever you see – if it’s sunny, be grateful for the sunshine. If cloudy, appreciate the beauty of the clouds and the coolness. Notice the changing seasons and listen to the symphony of life as it awakens.

Once this energy is engaged you may discover that your gratitude extends to the challenges you face. A shift in perception transforms how you interpret your journey. Ultimately, gratitude becomes the foundation of a peacefulness that cannot be shaken by outside events. This is empowerment.

Healing emotional wounds

Life will always provide the perfect situation for your growth.

“What is the path? Residing in this very life, exactly as it is right now… liking or not liking has nothing to do with it.”
~ Ezra Bayda~

From time to time even the most advanced spiritual students can get surprised by a situation which triggers old wounds and brings intense emotions to the surface. Often, this is accompanied by an ego-generated thought that adds in a layer of self-judgment such as, “I know better. I should be beyond this by now.”

Rather than attempting to push down the emotion, explain it away intellectually or taking action to address the situation, choose to quietly go within. Gently examine the stories that surface in the mind. Whether it is a repetitive pattern in your experience or something new, it contains specific value in this moment of your journey of awakening.

Honor those who grace your life. Accept them as they are, and most importantly, accept yourself as you are in this moment. Every situation offers an opportunity to rise above the mechanisms of the mind, heal emotional wounds and awaken your inner wisdom. Be gentle with yourself. Everything works toward your highest good – always.

The path of transcendence

Your story is still being written.

“Ten thousand years from now, your presence will still be felt, your name will still be whispered, and your goodness will still be expanding. And that’s just for the stuff you’ve already done!”
~ The Universe~

We are spiritual beings having a human experience. Both are equally important and ultimately, each of us will find our unique way of bridging the two realms by bringing higher consciousness to our choices and demonstrating compassion through our actions.

As we heal, our experience of the world is changed. Awareness transforms challenges into opportunities to grow. It opens the doors of perception and allows us to see more clearly. Oneness becomes possible.

See your struggles as aspects of your growth that are still being written. Every great story has adversarial energies to overcome, lessons to be learned and breakthroughs that lift the spirit. These epic tales touch the soul and inspire others to see their own potential. You are the author of your own experience and now is the time to create a new reality.

Emotion

Just a little bit of insight and awareness can transform your entire life.

“Experiencing our emotions fully, without wallowing in them or turning away, allows us to break through the layers of protective armor and connect with the heart. Fully felt, our emotions can clear the path to the deep well of compassionate love that is the essence of our being… and we are free to receive all the world.”
~ Ezra Bayda~

You can only truly understand what you have experienced. The mind seeks to plan, while the heart listens and acts. Nurture the garden of your heart and tend the seeds that you have planted there. Who knows how much beauty and growth may come from one new insight?

Divine energy seeks to express itself through you. No matter how you choose to share your gifts, be guided by love and compassion. Without doubt, the world has been changed by your sojourn here. Be the storyteller, be the healer, be the light that illuminates the darkness.

Feel your way to freedom. Honor the emotions that arise with the knowledge that they are meant to help you break free from restrictive thoughts and beliefs. Untethered, the energies of infinite possibility feed the flames of your life purpose in a transformative and powerful way.

Intuition

What you place your focus upon grows stronger in your experience.

“We unnecessarily go on seeking advice from the outside when existence is ready to speak to us from the innermost core of our being. It is already there, but we never listen to that still, small voice.”
~Osho~

Intuition is like a muscle. We all have it, but not everyone chooses to develop it. People often question how to differentiate between the inner voice of wisdom and the voice of the ego. The answer to that question is that the ego is loud and repetitive while intuition comes through silence and typically speaks once.

As we learn to listen and act upon the voice of intuition, it becomes stronger. We also may experience accompanying physical indicators, such as goosebumps, tummy flutters or tears. The more you trust your inner wisdom, the more clearly these indicators will be felt. This process of connection eventually transforms into the ability to live a life that is awake and connected to the energy of the present moment.

Subconscious Beliefs

Pay attention to what repeats in your experience.

“Spiritual work is possible in one place alone: here, in exactly what you are experiencing right now.”
~Ezra Bayda~

Repetitive struggles show us where we are stuck. When a challenge repeats, the initial response is “Not again!” or “I knew it!” The ego loves to be right and these recurring patterns solidify the limiting belief and add to the energy keeping it in place.

Awareness is the first step of transformation. Rather than getting trapped in victim consciousness, seek to change your inner dialogue. Empowerment means that we take full responsibility for how we respond to life; therefore, this moment of insight calls upon us to honor the challenge as a teacher and respond accordingly. So how does one respond with empowerment? By utilizing gratitude and being willing to change without self-criticism.

As you change, the world around you is transformed. People will respond to you differently. You will rise above the old patterns and set yourself free. You will discover a new way of being. The possibilities are limitless.

Billions of ways to grow

There are many paths to enlightenment. Choose one that brings you joy.

“Looking with a mind that’s awake reveals the shimmering pulse of life. Looking with a mind full of thoughts reveals only your thoughts.”
~Ezra Bayda~

Sparks of enlightenment dance all around you. They enter your experience as a flash of insight, a shift in perception, chance encounters, the smile of a dog, the beauty of a sunrise, music that opens the heart or through countless other ways not yet imagined. The awakening soul recognizes the miraculous in the mundane and these sparks become the flame of awareness.

The light of your consciousness transforms all that it shines upon. Purposely turn your focus inward illuminating all the aspects of the Self. This attention cultivates the ability to see past mind-made illusion to the truth of who you are – a master in the process of awakening.

The mind may tell you that mastery is out of your reach; however, mastery is not something we attain, but something that we remember. When you are ready, the fires of awareness will burn away all that blocks your ability to see.
