Transcendent Empowerment is created when one combines the mysterious depths of the soul with conscious wisdom and intention.

Ego generated accomplishment calls upon us to focus our strength and abilities, create a plan and work hard to achieve our goals. As we grow in soul awareness, we discover that true power needs no force in order to manifest transformation. Conversely, we find that purposely stepping into the flow of universal energy creates ease and grace in our experience.

Some get lost in passivity, never realizing their role as a conscious creator. In every aspect of your life situation, seek to find a balance that embodies passion, conscious intention, purposeful action and detachment. Your mastery and focus will awaken abilities that are ready to shine.

Your expression of life is unique. Your skills, talents and inspiration are meant to be explored. When you reach a point of not knowing how to define yourself, when no title seems to apply, you’re on the right track. Release the habitual need to limit your experience by adhering to a particular role. You are eternal. You are love. Let your life be filled with infinite possibility.

Mastery and Joy

Joy is linked to mastery. When desire and expectation are released and we consciously immerse ourselves deeply within the Now, life responds  in amazing ways. Rather than allowing attachment to create moments of pain, we can discover the freedom that is the by-product of  acceptance.

Seek to fill your experience with countless tiny moments of joy rather than seeking to attain one particular goal. When we enter the field of awareness with humility and a sense of adventure, we open floodgates of energy that synergize and awaken, simplifying our journey.

Joy and peacefulness go and in hand. Seek to rise above the mechanisms of the ego by paying deep attention whenever you observe that it is attempting to distract you. Resistance is a great indicator that something powerful is possible. One spark of awareness can change everything.

Honor the processes of your awakening by being a conscious participant in the process. Let yourself be drawn into wonder as you traverse the landscape of your life. Ultimately, love will make itself known, expanding as it is shared. The song of your soul desires to be sung.

Know Thyself

One challenge that many spiritual seekers encounter is opposition from those around them. The ego may, for a time, flame the inner struggle between the human desire to be accepted and the souls desire to live in ones truth. Those who oppose you teach you how to be authentic. They will be the first to point out when your actions are hypocritical. They will demand explanations and then pick apart spiritual ideas in a way that may cause the newly awakened to doubt their own experiences and insights; however, this articulation (especially to oneself) is an important aspect of spiritual awakening.

True empowerment resides in humility and enlightenment. When you notice the egos desire to be right, to score points off a frustrating person or even to be recognized as a spiritual master, go within and consciously release the need to speak. Watch how strongly the mind responds… Your authenticity has a greater impact than changing someones mind, performing miracles or receiving temporary adulation from the uninitiated. Life will always present the ideal situation for your growth. The spiritual student will look at a challenge and ask themselves what there is to be learned. A master will look at the ease and joys of life asking the very same question.

The Veil of Illusion

The Divine seeks to experience life in its many forms through each of us. When we choose to embrace one another as an expression of infinite energy, we begin to witness our interactions from a higher perspective. All that is required is the willingness to see through the chosen roles we play and the dramas we create. The awakening soul recognizes the miraculous in the mundane and these sparks become the flame of awareness.
Existence is overflowing with opportunities for our collective expansion. The ideas of poverty, comparison, lack and fear are man-made concepts. Abundance is everywhere – watch nature in motion, try to count the stars, measure the gifts of sunlight. To live is to create a joyful existence. To be abundant is to honor life in motion, see through the illusions and find beauty in the layers and contrasts of experience.
The light of your consciousness transforms all that it shines upon. Purposely turn your focus inward and illuminate higher aspects of the Self. This attention cultivates the ability to see past mind-made illusion to the truth of who you are – a master in the process of awakening.

Zen is doing one thing at a time with your full attention and consciousness awareness. The incremental steps we take toward enlightenment transform our very way of being.  Life is a dance of light and dark, giving and receiving, the contrasts bringing out the inherent beauty within every situation. Each of us make unique contributions to the wholeness of existence and together we create a synergy that will ultimately expand our collective consciousness.

You participation in life nourishes you as well as those around you. Be fully present. Do one thing at a time and give your whole heart to it. In order to recognize the joy that is found in the present moment, we must escape the limiting perceptions of the mind.

All that you seek is already within you. Embrace what is with enthusiasm, passion or acceptance and take one more conscious step forward. Allow your inner wisdom to guide your life. Relax, and recognize your value as an awakening master.

Be The Light

Each of us must demonstrate personal responsibility by observing the energy we bring into our life situations. Mastery calls upon us to take ownership of our state of consciousness in the present moment. We can then take right action knowing that we have a definitive impact on those around us.

Every circumstance offers an opportunity to discover the infinite facets of love. Periodically check in and ask if you’re bringing the best version of yourself to the present moment. It’s empowering to observe, see clearly and shift when required. These are some of the many gifts of expanding awareness. As you awaken, you’ll have access to greater perception. Don’t be surprised if you have a significantly different view of the world than others around you. Let your life be your message and bring gentleness to your journey.

Each of us plays a role in the collective awakening of humanity. Some heal through adversity, some through loving example and teaching while others let the light of the divine shine through them by bringing kindness and compassion into daily activity. Find your truth and live it to the best of your ability.

What We Choose

Empowerment begins with ownership. Ego would have you believe that you are a victim of life’s challenges, that things happen to you rather then for you and that you are trapped by circumstance. Though each journey is different, there comes a time when a whisper cuts through the barrage of thought to remind us that change is possible. That whisper is the gift of infinite possibility.

For those ready to shift, that is the moment that everything changes. Rather than repeating old patterns, we bravely try something new as we  fumble our way toward ecstasy. Through consistent practice and experience, we refine our way of being in the world. Each new playground provides ample opportunity to master the art of awakening as we shed limiting beliefs and step into conscious awareness.

When shadows arise, turn toward them and they will disappear in the beauty of your light. Acceptance sets the stage for a new way of being to emerge. Your willingness to seek the gift ensures that it will be discovered.

What is the driving force of your life? You can choose to be inspired. Your birthright is to thrive, to be joyous, to discover how to live balanced and peacefully.

From a young age, we absorb conditioning that blinds us to life’s beauty. We are bombarded with violence and fear in our art, sports and news reporting. Is it any wonder that it is now rising to the surface? I believe we are collectively engaged in the process of facing our shadow so that it can be healed.
Many people believe that hatred is a necessary part of life. They fear people and things that are different and see any challenge to the status quo as something to be conquered. The only danger we face is the danger of losing compassion for one another.
Love resides at the core of all things – love, or a call to love. Seek to remove low energy vibrations from your personal experience. Cultivate a sacred space and consciously be aware of what you’ll allow there. You can choose to be inspired, enchanted and authentic.

Masters in the Process of Awakening

Today is a blank slate – you can create whatever you wish. Certainly, some situations and opportunities may be ongoing; however, you have the ability to choose how you approach whatever is offered. If you desire change in your life, begin now. Be conscious of the words you use. Greet the day no matter how it is presented with love and quiet expectation. Be conscious of how you respond to others and bring an unprotected heart to your meeting place.

Should you interact with someone who is lost in judgment or negativity, realize that they simply don’t know any better. These are learned behaviors, and it’s likely that the imprinting occurred in childhood… long before the moment you are currently witnessing. But we can choose to sow seeds of kindness. We have the option to engage in negativity or bring new energy and light to the situation. Every moment offers an opportunity to discover something new.

The limitless potential and capabilities of each of us are still in the process of being discovered and even the most unconscious person is also a divine being of light and infinite goodness.  Awakening, being, discovering… liberating. You are a master in the process of awakening.

Vision and Purpose

Your journey is unique. As your vision expands, you’ll discover the joys that can be created through balance and self-mastery as you seek to express your soul’s purpose. When energy is focused upon awakening, the need to blame others disappears. We learn to take full responsibility for our own experiences.
When intense emotions arise, slow down and observe the feelings without judgment. Allow the moment to be as it is and examine why you temporarily have chosen to give away your power through reactivity. As you turn as look toward the true object of your distress (typically your thoughts about a situation rather than the situation itself), it begins to transform. The light of your consciousness allows you to understand yourself – and that is the point of our sojourn here.
Make the conscious decision to see all paths as sacred. Give others the support and space they need to find their own way and choose to stay deeply connected to your own peacefulness. Each of us is a master in the midst of awakening. The only difference between us is where we are in that process. Tend to your own state of consciousness. Everything will come together exactly as it should.
