Embody Love
The Power of Awareness
~ ~
This new day is filled with limitless possibility. Honor the sacredness of the present moment through gratitude. When we stop and recognize the beauty of creation, we become loving witnesses to life itself. Everything is a reflection of your own state of consciousness. So when a rainbow awakens wonder within you, turn inward for it is an indicator of your own wonder and magic.
Gaze upon one another with love. Your smile has the power to awaken joy. Your consciousness has the power to awaken the consciousness of others. Your compassion has the power to awaken compassion in others. These are the gifts that you give the world. And it is forever transformed because of your sojourn in it.
Awareness activates dormant energies. Our ability to create is incredibly powerful; therefore, end your gratitude moment by setting an intention. If each of us chooses to be an authentic example of kindness and patience and states this intention out loud each morning, what might come of it?
You Are the Universe
“When the world feels overwhelming, I want to love bigger, I want to love louder, I want to be connected to my community.”
~Mona Tavakoli~
The spiritual quest is to experience the highest source of love – love with the Divine. Part of that practice is learning to love in a way that is pure and free from ego-driven desire. As we open to one another in a way that is completely present, vulnerable and authentic, we remove the barriers that divide us. To see the sacredness in another is the greatest gift that you can give.
Openness
Enlightenment is a process of awakening that spans many, many lifetimes. Your current life experience is a fraction of the overall tapestry of existence that we weave.
Consider this: You will have the opportunity to be every race that this world has to offer. You will have the opportunity to embrace every religion (or no religion). You will have the opportunity to be rich, poor, healthy, diseased, understood, misunderstood, desired or shunned. The process of awakening embraces every experience as important. Each plays as integral role in the cultivation of compassion.
When you don’t understand the thought processes or actions of another, it may simply mean that you have yet to experience that type of life situation. Be patient with one another, no matter where one is in the process of awakening. Walk with a quiet stillness of understanding and compassion, realizing that we all do the best we can from where we are with what we have.
The most important thing to focus upon is your state of consciousness in the present moment. We can change the world with our love and openness while providing one another the space in which transformation can occur.
Empathy
When we are attached to an idea of how life should be and it differs from what we are experiencing, pain ensues. The awakened soul has the ability to turn and face whatever fears arise, thus, addressing the imbalance while it is smaller and more manageable. If we allow the mind to create and repeat stories that reinforce the original attachment, energy is fed into the problem increasing it’s presence in our lives. Choose instead to bring peace and balance into your experience. Become a channel for light to enter your life.
The more you see any challenges you encounter as vehicles of awakening, the more empathy you’ll cultivate for others who struggle with their own challenges. Compassion teaches us the value of creating space in relationships, allowing each person to thrive and grow as the winds of heaven dance in between.
Everyone has something beautiful to offer – a moment of kindness can be life-changing for those who are touched by your energy. Sharing new insights, artistic vision, passion or laughter can open new avenues of experience. Never doubt the power of your positive choices and interactions.

Compassion
It can be difficult to watch those you love harm themselves through self-sabotage, limiting thought patterns or repetitive behavior. The natural instinct of love is the desire to take away another’s pain; however, attempting to do so before the soul has truly learned the lesson involved merely prolongs the challenge. The same type of situation will manifest again in various forms until it is no longer needed. It’s healthier for all involved to raise someone’s consciousness (by raising yours) and detach from expectation.
Detached compassion is utilizing the wisdom of love in order to create a space of comfortable silence and well-being – the coming together of kindred spirits. In this manner, one can detach from the ego and move past blocks of perception into the realm of new possibility.
For everyone, this is a period of discovery. Not every pathway will lead to a definitive answer, but the joy is in the journey. Be supportive, kind and authentic. When someone comes to you and specifically asks for direction or advice, share your ideas without attachment – everyone processes new information in their own way and time.
Honor all paths as sacred by allowing the lesson, offering support and sowing seeds of compassion.
