When you change the way you see the world, the world around you will change
“I know that what I am resistant to change is what I need to change the most.”
~Louise Hay~
Everyone processes and interprets the events of their life based upon their personal filters, beliefs, expectations and desire. No matter what unfolds, it will be used to substantiate whatever story is most prevalent at the moment. Sometimes, it can be challenging to see oneself clearly. Simply look at life and observe how you interpret what you see. The repeating pattern in your experience is ready to be observed and changed.
When we change our thoughts, the world around us changes. Each of us has the ability to consciously adjust our inner dialogue, to focus upon gratitude and beauty and to rewrite old scripts into something new and amazing. Transformation is at hand.
There is no greater tragedy than discontentment. Lao Tzu teaches, “Contentment alone is enough, indeed, the bliss of eternity can be found in your contentment.” Be at peace where you are. If you can change a challenging situation, do so to the best of your ability. If you cannot, purposely move into acceptance and choose to re-frame your perception of the situation.
Today my intention is to pay attention. I am a lifetime student of love.
