  • Silence

    \"\"

\”Silence, I discover, is something you can actually hear.

    ~Haruki Murakami~

I love the stillness that embraces me as the morning sky lightens. In the silence I feel life brimming with infinite possibility. A new world gently breathes, waiting. These moments set the stage for a day filled with opportunities to love, to learn and to serve.

The transition from dark to light is a natural flow of contrasts. The world looks a bit different by moonlight and different still in the darkest moments before dawn. As the sky begins to lighten I am humbled by the masterpiece that unfolds. The colors of the sunrise briefly make an appearance as the first bird joyfully awakens.

This moment, and how we choose to approach it, is the only thing that exists. All else is a memory or projection. In the Now, we can touch eternity. Listen deeply and open to receive. In the stillness, time stops. With integrity and awareness, we can step into the role of conscious creator. Life will respond to your grace and wisdom, often in surprising ways. In Presence, you can explore with wild freedom. Don\’t allow the mystical wonders of your life to go unnoticed.

  • The Nature of Change

    \"\"

Something beautiful happens when we embark upon the winds of change. Fresh experiences require greater attention and awareness and break us free from habitual patterns. In the process of discovery, we can explore the magic of new beginnings.

It’s helpful to have a blend of consistent practice and mindful exploration. As you cultivate the understanding that all things work toward your highest good, it’s easier to flow with change when it occurs. The experiences of your life have already shown the depths of your strength, planted seeds for growth and pivoted your direction, when required.

Reside in the fullness of what is. You are consistently engaged in the process of transformation and it’s important to release that which no longer serves your growth. Clinging to the knowns of the past will create discomfort.

When going through a painful transition, losing a loved one or facing uncertainty, the ego will respond through the intellect of the mind saying, “Stop, you are standing on the abyss, it’s not safe, we don’t know what awaits.” Conversely, the soul asks you to trust that you are supported. By gathering your courage and taking one more conscious step forward, you enter the realms of infinite possibility where miracles dwell.

  • The Flow of Experience

    \"\"

This too shall pass… whether you are enjoying expansion and joyous transition or facing significant challenges, this truth remains. It’s a delight to fully celebrate moments of breakthrough while riding the waves of positive energy; however, it’s also important to understand that everything is cyclical. Beyond the perception of good and bad, there is simply soul-enriching experience.

Share your joy with others and participate fully in whatever the present moment requires. Too often we try to hold on to that which is fluid instead of experiencing what is. Whether we are celebrating or learning, consciously remember, this too shall pass.

The only constant in life is change. We live magnificently within the ebb and flow of experience – living, dying, rebirth, expansion. All contrasts and apparent opposites have their part to play and it can be exceedingly helpful to observe the patterns we encounter. Learn to flow with what is without clinging and embrace your transformation.

Quiet pauses allow us to gather our energy for the next moment of movement. Much like the tidal flow of the ocean, the power and healing lies within the highs and the lows, blending together to form the natural, evolving and mysterious playground of life.

  • Transition

    \"\"

During times of transition, shifts in life’s circumstances or accelerated self-change, it’s important to learn how to keep emotional responses moderate. Rather than complete immersion in the highs and lows (which can be exhausting!), consciously take a moment to observe yourself, knowing that true protection comes from acting with integrity, doing your best and accepting what is.

On the path of transformation we periodically embark upon cycles of change and discover new aspects of our strength in the newfound freedom and liberation from outmoded beliefs and habits. When we take responsibility for creating the conditions of a particular situation, we move into empowerment. The more severe the disruption, the more significant the growth.

When you don\’t know what to do, choose one small task and do it mindfully. This sets energy in motion. Present moment awareness activates a higher perception and from there, you can see more clearly.

Visualize beautiful light and energy forming around a thought. See it expand and take on a life of its own as it flows out into the Universe, sparkles of joy merging with the life-force and love of the Divine. Change is constant; however, inner stillness and limitless potential are your true foundation.

  • Surrender

    \"\"

“When we bring a gentle awareness to the layers of our conditioning, and to the struggles that arise out of our conditioning, the power of that conditioning slowly dissolves. Life then moves toward the unconditioned – where the vastness, or love, just flows through.”

    ~Ezra Bayda~

The ego often seeks to fight, prove oneself right, defend beliefs or struggle against life. Whenever you observe this happening, consciously move into surrender. Allow the energy around you to flow unimpeded. You’ll access the strength and peace that reside underneath the mechanisms of the mind.

When we choose to surrender to what is, we demonstrate faith in the process of awakening. Things often flow better when we get ourselves out of the way. The enlightened understand that surrender is a sign of empowerment.

Trust the wisdom of your higher self. Place your focus upon how you are responding to life, rather than trying to control how it unfolds. Are you operating from a space of joy, enthusiasm or acceptance? Are you seeing your experiences as opportunities to awaken?

The present moment is your point of power. How are you choosing to experience it? Life\’s wonder and mystery can only be discovered where you are.
