  • Accept, Then Act

    \"\"
“Accept — then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy. This will miraculously transform your whole life.”
    ~Eckhart Tolle~

All of life is participating in your awakening. Every nuance of the days events, each interaction, all that you witness… everything plays it’s unique role in the development of your soul. With this in mind, see the present moment as a friend rather than a means to an end.

It can be challenging to stay present in the midst of change and disruption. If something knocks you off balance, observe how long it takes for you to notice and correct course. It\’s likely that you see through the mechanisms of the ego much more quickly than you used to. The challenges and changing circumstances in your experience have cultivated wisdom and empowerment.

You are right where you need to be. Whatever unfolds in your life is what you need at this moment. Give yourself, and those you love, space to thrive and grow. Pure acceptance is an expression of love that comes from the highest level of your being.

  • Let the Universe Surprise You

    \"\"

\”What the Universe will manifest when you are in alignment with it is a lot more interesting that what you try to manifest.

    ~Adyashanti~

We humans have limited perception. This is by design. Our lack of vision creates an ego-driven desire to understand or achieve more; however, the lesson is actually about learning how to trust.

Our dreams are meant to awaken new experiences and will often prompt us to embark upon roads less traveled. The key is to enjoy the journey and to be open to the changes, soul connections and experiences that flow into our lives.

It’s wonderful to have preferences and goals but far more important to learn how to work toward them without attachment. When we demand that life conform to our dreams and desires, we limit the outcome to only that which our limited perception can imagine. As we learn to approach the journey with a sense of wonder and trust, we create a space in which miracles can occur.

Leave enough room in your experience for the universe to surprise you. There is much more happening on your behalf than you realize and one day, looking back, you’ll see the perfection in it all.

  • I Am Consciousness

    \"\"

What you see and experience is about 1% of what is truly occurring at any given moment. We are infinite beings living a temporary human experience. Threads of energy connect all things and light is constantly flowing through those connections, weaving a tapestry of exquisite design.

You are consciousness experiencing itself through human experience. Within that realm of existence the goal is to expand until we recognize our true nature. No matter how it appears, love is waiting to emerge in every situation and you are supported and guided every step of the way.

Shakespeare once wrote “All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players.” For any play to be successful, the actors must embrace and lose themselves within the part, creating belief through their interpretation of the role they have been given. Thus is it with the human experience. Everyone is playing his or her role perfectly, ultimately contributing to our collective lessons. As an awakened spiritual being, it’s important to learn how to participate while also recognizing your infinite nature, seeing beyond appearances and limitation.

Observe your life experience. Open your heart to what life is trying to teach you in the present moment. You are awakening.

  • Mindful Silence

    \"\"

“Silence is not the absence of something but the presence of everything.”

    ~Gorden Hempton~

Silence is more than the absence of noise. A living presence, it allows us to enter the temple of the Divine by journeying deep within ourselves. Very few people are comfortable in the space of infinite possibility. They seek diversion and distraction and become lost within the echos and mechanisms of the mind.

Mindful silence will connect you to all of existence. This moment is beautiful, fulfilling and poignant. When you immerse yourself within it, it becomes apparent that all you need is already here. Cease striving for a particular end result. Instead, find the completeness in the Now. Whatever you choose to do, however you choose to feel, do it completely and patiently. This immersion will bring about transcendence. Live every moment as if there is no other moment to come.

It is the space between the notes which creates beauty in music. Without the space and intent, there is only noise. Learn to be the space in the symphony of your life. Embody compassion and stillness and purposely align yourself with love. In the stillness you’ll discover that everything is possible, yet nothing is required.

  • Space to Grow

    \"\"

\”People don\’t need to be forced to grow. All we need is favorable circumstances: respect, love, honesty, and the space to explore.\”

    ~Ellen Bass~

Collectively we all travel the same journey of awakening; however, every experience is unique. Give those you love the space to grow, to discover, experiment, succeed and fail. Life teaches every step of the way. Challenges create facets of strength and empowerment that ultimately lead to a unique expression of the Divine.

Our shared experiences teach us how to connect to one another. The energy that flows in contrasting circumstances creates expansion through the synergy of the dance of opposites.

In the ever-shifting flow of life there is a constant movement of growth and change. We are forever in the process of endings and beginnings, expanding into new areas of understanding and recognizing the validity of what serves us best on the journey. Don’t fear the amazing potential that wishes to express itself through you. Underneath the layers of thought and belief lies an infinite source of life that lovingly waits to be explored.

  • Soul Healing

    \"\"

“Where we stopped dancing, singing, being enchanted by stories, or finding comfort in silence is where we have experienced the loss of soul. Dancing, singing, storytelling, and silence are the four universal healing salves.”
    ~Gabrielle Roth~

There are times when we must go inward, feel deeply and allow healing to begin.

The most profound spiritual work is often done alone. It’s helpful to enter the stillness of the present moment, step away from the input of others, feel deeply and undergo a cleansing. Getting near water can be helpful with this process – visit the ocean, step into a stream, immerse yourself in a lake or even use your shower as a conscious place of healing.

In times of uncertainly and re-evaluation, allow the element of water to inspire a free flow of feelings. This cleansing process begins to heal old wounds while creating a space where clarity can emerge. Tears are powerful. They come when we need emotional release as well as being  spontaneous indicators of the flow of love from the Divine in times of breakthrough and joy.

Give yourself freedom to cleanse mind, body and spirit. Honor your tears as sacred for they indicate the depth of your openness and willingness to grow.

  • Stillness

    \"\"
“It’s as though, knowing that everything is possible, suddenly nothing is necessary.”
    ~Diana Gabaldon~
There are moments when life goes quiet. In the gap between what is and what could be lies a world of infinite possibility. There is nothing quite so beautiful as immersing oneself within the embrace of stillness.
We humans can cause ourselves so much pain. Excessive thought fills these spaces of pure potential with clutter that is then carried into day to day life. Everything becomes too much and the overload causes reactivity, which leads to additional conflict and drama.
Each journey is unique; therefore, there isn’t one passageway into stillness. Those seeking to expand their consciousness must experiment with different ways of engaging the mystery. One thing to remember: it exists for everyone. We can access stillness in the midst of chaos and choose to be at peace, even within the cacophony of experience.
When you discover your own way of going deeper into the present moment, make it a priority in your life. Find ways to work it into your daily routine until it becomes your natural way of being in the world. There will come a time when this magnificence, this expanded vision, is simply who you are.
  • How to Love – The Celtic Vows of Friendship

    \"\"

    I honor your path

I bring an unprotected heart to our meeting place

    I drink from your well

    I hold no cherished outcome

I will not negotiate by withholding

I am not subject to disappointment

Unconditional love has no opposite. It sees through the mechanisms of ego to the truth of the soul. When we bring patience and kindness into our relationships, we create space where transformation is possible. Love those who grace your life in such a way that they feel safe, supported and empowered.

There is great inherent beauty waiting to be discovered in every circumstance. You can experience your journey in any way that you wish. The souls only true desire is to awaken.

Humility is an expression of the advanced soul. When you can take responsibility for your own state of consciousness, when you can say \”I\’m sorry\” and be non-reactive to others\’ whims and foibles, you are awakening to a new way of being. Consider the uses of adversity. They provide varied opportunities to see love in action.

Soulmates make a lasting covenant with one another. We offer to hold space while providing guidance with patience and compassion. There is no greater gift of friendship.

  • Nurturing the Soul

    \"\"

“A sacred wandering awakens you. It connects you to your authentic self. It can empower you to find your voice. To enlarge your vision. To nurture your soul. To create healthy boundaries. To bravely try something new.”
    ~Dana Arcuri~

Remember to create space throughout each day to nurture your soul. Little moments of peace, solitude or laughter can transform your experience from reactivity to empowerment. Through trial and error we discover what enriches us. Only we can choose to make self-nurturing a priority. Don\’t expect others to instinctively know what your soul needs in order to shine, but do embody it consistently so others can witness the best aspects of who you are.

Sometimes people will come in who mindlessly overstep boundaries. Unconsciousness creates psychic vampirism that may drag down your energy, leaving you tired and head-achy. View these souls as teachers who create situations that allow you to become clear about your needs while providing an opportunity to be concise and consistent with your words and actions.

Utilizing clearly defined, loving boundaries, you can create a unique way of being in the world. Then, the energy and time you share will be pure and have a lasting impact on those around you.

  • Space in Togetherness

    \"\"
\”But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: but let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.\”
    ~Kahlil Gibran~

Choose to bring an unprotected heart to your meeting place.

Love empowers us to discover who we are in the presence of another. As we release limiting beliefs, heal old emotional wounds and come to realize our own value, we cease seeking outside validation. Love is transformed from ego-driven neediness into healthy, supportive interactions.

Everyone in your life is in a continual process of growth and one of the greatest challenges is to drop your own expectations and attachments. Your willingness to allow those you love to learn their lessons in their own way creates space where transformation can occur.

Ram Dass once said, “We are all just walking each other home.” Whether someone graces your life for a moment or for many years, simply love them as fellow travelers. Should your paths diverge, be grateful for the aspects of the journey you have shared and all that you have learned together.
