Possibility

“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.”
~James Allen~

Your thoughts create your reality. Where do you choose to allow your mind to dwell? It’s time to break free from any self-imposed prisons and explore infinite possibilities that await your discovery.

Shifting consciousness is a practice. Within it new ways of being are revealed and our interpretations of the world are transformed. As our perception broadens we begin to recognize more opportunities, different outcomes, and bear loving witness to the subtle shifts that shape our lives.

We are evolving beings; therefore, it’s healthy to allow yourself expand into new areas of growth. Throughout the process you may just discover aspects of your being that have long called out for expression. These transformative seeds of light exist within you, and are ready to unfold in your experience.

Be Here Now

“Being spiritual has nothing to do with what you believe and everything to do with your state of consciousness.”
~Eckhart Tolle~

It’s important to create spaces within your experience to be fully present, peaceful and quiet. In a world filled with distractions and demands, it’s easy to lose the Now. Many people constantly rush from one place to another, one belief to another, one goal to another, one lover to another in order to find perceived fulfillment… never realizing that grace and fulfillment are already here.

Slow down and breathe. Take a break from the flow of thought and movement and find the sacredness that resides within and all around you. You’ll discover that this moment is the space of pure potential. In the silence, all things are possible, yet none are required.

Spend this day as a conscious observer. See how much you can engage with life while saying very little. This will allow you to actively participate; however, you may come away with a greater understanding of your own level of consciousness as well as greater clarity regarding those with whom you interact.

The art of stillness is one that consistently needs to be cultivated in the midst of our busy and ever-changing world. You have access to a great wellspring of peace and power that will provide balance and replenish your soul.

Power From Within

“Love is misunderstood to be an emotion; actually, it is a state of awareness, a way of being in the world, a way of seeing oneself and others.”
~David R. Hawkins~

The time has come to honor your innate power and allow yourself to be transformed by love. When you choose to recognize all that you see and experience as sacred, your choices will consistently demonstrate a higher awareness and you will bring a new energy to your interactions.

As we release the need to control, we expand the parameters of possibility. Awareness, acceptance, compassion and empowerment blend to create a new reality. Higher consciousness changes how we relate to one another and ignites an inherent ability to see life differently.

Our world has always been a chaotic place filled with people operating from varying levels of consciousness. This blend of energies has a dual impact, one can either get pulled into limited perception – feeling trapped or powerless – or evolve to an entirely different type of encounter. Both are vital aspects of the human experience. The contrasts of dark and light combine to teach us the hidden mysteries of love.

Initiation

“Every positive change – every jump to a higher level of energy and awareness – involves a rite of passage. Each time to ascend to a higher rung on the ladder of personal evolution, we must go through a period of discomfort, of initiation. I have never found an exception.”
~Dan Millman~

Resisting the dark passage of initiation will create imbalance and crisis in your life experience.

Each of us must walk our own path of initiation. The loss of a loved one, relationship, health, identity or dream forces us to enter a dark night of the soul. The challenges we face often prompt us to explore lessons we would never purposely choose on our own. They provide the opportunity to discover new facets of our strength while teaching how to access our inner wisdom. Eventually, we emerge blinking into the sunlight, changed, the dark passage now a pivotal piece of our history.
Those of who have been tempered by challenging experiences have a sense of empowerment. You can recognize your ability to face the shocks of life with a quiet sense of acceptance and no longer see any losses that occur as wrong or punishment. Know that your transformation and courageousness is an inspiration to those who grace your life.

Silence

“As you quiet your mind, you begin to see the nature of your own resistance more clearly, struggles, inner dialogues, the way in which you procrastinate and develop passive resistance against life. As you cultivate the witness, things change. You don’t have to change them. Things just change.”
~Ram Dass~

We do not need to add more knowledge or new beliefs. It’s far more powerful to learn to rise above the antics of the mind into a place where we can commune with the Divine. We need to experience more wonder and more awe at the beauty that surrounds us. The minds noise can sometimes become a wall that closes us off from the miracle of the present moment.

There is a great depth of spaciousness which resides within you. Step into the silence and see if you can sense the infinite wellspring of potential that is waiting to be discovered.
Learn to be loving in your silence, otherwise your silence will become filled with closed-off energy that is helpful to no one. Love is only possible when you are fearless and exists in the absence of judgment. Simply breathe in the truth of your light, feel a smile of gratitude and observe. Bring healing and grace into your life situation by falling madly in love with life itself.

Learning Through Emotion

“This being human is a guest house. Every morning is a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor… Welcome and entertain them all. Treat each guest honorably. The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.”
~Rumi~

Intense feelings, when they arise, are indicators that something within you is ready to be observed, healed and released. When you become aware of your own reactivity, move into stillness and simply notice it. Your awareness begins the process of transformation.

These moments are fleeting and can be just as mesmerizing as clouds moving across the sky. Watch them dance in your mind. Honor them as your teachers. Should they prompt you into action, ensure that you choose to come from a place of love and compassion.

Emotional upheaval shall pass. You may choose to pull back from others as you quietly and mindfully allow the new lessons and insights to emerge. The contrasts of life experience are wonderful teachers when viewed consciously.

Your journey

“Your outer journey may contain a million steps; the inner journey has only one: the step you are taking right now.”
~Eckhart Tolle~

Participation is key. Be willing to explore, experience and feel. Don’t close yourself off out of fear, for you never know what beauty may be waiting to unfold in your life.

Consciously keep your attention rooted in the present moment. Break free from the patterns of reliving the past or imagining the future. Resist nothing. Experience the sacredness and mystery of life. When you attach to an end result, you shut out all other possibilities and create pain in your experience.

Plans are meant to inspire movement. They open the heart to new ideas and start a flow of change in our lives; however, often that is their sole purpose. Once we set sail, the winds determine the direction of the journey.

Don’t wait for some achievement to give meaning to your life. Instead, see yourself as an adventurer into the infinite. Life’s magic awaits discovery.

Life’s Grace

“Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies… those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.”
~John Milton~
Each of us chooses how we participate with life. Our day to day experiences run the gamut – from tragedy to bliss, darkness to light, pain to pleasure. Rather than layering a mind-made story on top of various events, we can choose to accept, then act.
Dark moments and challenges are not a punishment, nor are they a predetermined script by which we must abide. Instead, every situation offers a moment to shine, to learn, to expand. With our attitude, we determine how to interpret the events of our lives. Gratitude creates a space where insight and growth can occur.
Begin your day with a blessing. Honor the path of your awakening – no matter how it appears. Seek only to be the best version of yourself. This is the moment of your transformation.

Self Approval

“Our self-images define our own boundaries, limiting us to the narrow ideas of who we believe ourselves to be.”
~Ezra Bayda~

If you’ve ever spent time with someone who criticized your every move, always found fault with your choices or nit-picked the decisions you’ve made, you’d likely consider that person to be toxic, and would probably limit your interactions.

Yet, the unkindness perpetrated by others often pales in comparison to the dialogue of our inner critic. Many people place impossible demands upon themselves and carry the mental weight of perceived mistakes, lost opportunities, guilt or shame.

Should you observe negative self-talk, stop and change the momentum of your thoughts. Affirmations, gratitude and self-love can shift the energy into a more productive direction. Instead of demanding that you be perfect, seek to transform your experience through conscious acceptance. Don’t hate your way to change. Let love open you to the transformative energy that is all around you.

Ultimately, since the world is our reflection, we can actively practice kindness on every level: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. As your self-love increases, you’ll notice that you complain less. Acceptance, compassion, balance and harmony are the by-products of of a person who is at ease in the present moment.

Expanding Consciousness

“Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness.”
~Eckhart Tolle~
There is a consciousness arising within you. You have chosen to be here now, to read these words, to discover new ways of being, of thinking and experiencing the essence of life.
The path of transformation should be one of constant expansion. This beautiful energy is constant and always a part of you. It can become lost from time to time under the seemingly never-ending stream of input from the ego; however, by consciously bringing yourself fully present, you can access it in any moment.
It’s one thing to look for enlightenment and peace within challenging situations; however, even greater depth can be achieved when you look to raising your frequency when things are going well… to ask “What’s next?”
There is great value in taking a risk, in exploring new situations and circumstances. The choice to step into the unknown raises our awareness and helps us to awaken to greater possibilities.
You inner purpose is to awaken – nothing more. Continue to bring a constant spiritual approach to all that you do, look for ways to connect with your own inner sense of joy, peace and delight, and everything else will fall into place as it should. When things seem to take longer than you expect, it only means that there is more waiting to be discovered.
