On occasion, I’m asked how to tell the difference between ego and intuition. At first, the distinction can seem simple. Ego is often loud and repetitive, while intuition tends to arrive softly, offering its message once and allowing us to choose.
Over time, we learn to recognize those intuitive pings. Yet as our consciousness expands, the ego learns too. It becomes quieter, more subtle, and sometimes more convincing.
This is where discernment deepens.
The voice may soften, but the result often reveals its source. Ego tends to leave us circling in procrastination, fear, anxiety, or doubt. Intuition carries a different quality. Even when it comes as a warning, there is usually a calmness beneath it—a quiet knowing of the next right action.
Our lives are filled with contrast, and part of the journey is learning the language of our own inner world. Quiet the mind. Open the heart. Pay attention to the body. Notice what contracts and what settles. Notice what repeats and what arrives whole. Then trust yourself enough to move forward.
We are surrounded by love, guidance, and support, yet discernment remains a sacred practice of listening.
✨Blessing✨
May you find peace in the nuances of your journey.
May you learn to trust the wisdom of your soul.
And may stillness be the foundation you build upon as you walk forward.
