I woke today from gratitude-filled dreams and realized that it has been six weeks since my sweetie came home from his adventures in the hospital.
Challenges truly do make gratitude easy.
My sweetie is still here. He is growing stronger each day. The feedback from doctors and physical therapists continues to be positive, and little by little, he is rising out of the fear of the unknown and finding his rhythm again.
Throughout it all, the contrasts of life have made the sweet moments even sweeter. We have adjusted to new routines and expectations. I am still training a new puppy, which is its own particular exercise in patience, laughter, and surrender. My mother, easy as she is, still needs occasional help with things. Work has ebbed and flowed with very little effort from me. When I needed time, things slowed. When life opened again, people booked. Through all of it, I have felt the guiding hand of the Divine and the quiet knowing that love rains down on me from every dimension.
And in the midst of all of this, the sunrises have been amazingly glorious. At night, I walk through the yard and watch the shape of the moon change, clouds passing across the sky in endless artistry. Moments of laughter and snarckles shape our days as the ridiculous blends effortlessly with the sublime.
Life is beautiful.
I am grateful for each of you who have walked with me through these weeks, both physically and energetically. The circle we build together is one of collective discovery, kindness, wonder, and grace. There is something sacred in knowing that we accompany one another through the ordinary days as well as the extraordinary ones, bearing witness to the ways life breaks open, rearranges itself, and somehow becomes beautiful again.
And I am grateful.
✨ Blessings ✨
May you recognize the grace that has quietly walks beside you.
May the difficult places reveal the sweetness already present in your life,
and may the ordinary moments become sacred simply because you are here to experience them.
