“You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing, and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life.”

Old souls see life differently because they are able to utilize all seven chakras simultaneously. Rather than looping through drama and repetition, they bring an expanded view to their life circumstances. Many levels of energy are always in play, the physical being the least important. It’s powerful to look into the soul of a situation and examine it’s complexities through the various energetic filters.

Each chakra works with its own interpretation of events. The root chakra is concerned with survival. The belly chakra utilizes creativity and sexuality. The power chakra governs how we tap into our unique gifts and the energy we send our into the world. These first three chakras govern our experience in the world of form.

The heart chakra is the bridge between you and everything. Here we explore the nuances of love – gratitude, acceptance, kindness, compassion. When healthy, the heart connects the physical and the spiritual.
Our communication is represented by the throat chakra. Be conscious of how you speak. As we grow in conscientiousness, we have an obligation to lead by example. The 6th chakra, or third eye, allows us to make intuitive leaps by combining all the information we perceive, and finally, the crown chakra opens a direct channel to the Divine.

Life is a paradox. It often has myriad interpretations and nuance to explore. Choose what brings your balance and empowerment. Rather than fighting, Be. Your consciousness, unimpeded by ego or reactivity, is the greatest gift that you have to offer.
