Somatic Listening

We often wait for clarity as a tidy thought or a visible sign, yet the truest guidance often arrives embodied: a flutter in the belly, a softening at the heart, a steadying beneath the feet. Each cell is infused with Divine Intelligence, a living oracle that murmurs through sensation. To listen is to reclaim a sacred conversation with life itself.

Begin simply: place a hand over your heart, inhale slowly for six counts, exhale for eight. Ask one small question—“What does this feel like?”—and wait without forcing an answer. Notice images, textures, tones, or urges to move. These are the body’s metaphors; they do not always translate into logic, but they point the way.

Practice barefoot grounding at dawn, drawing the sun’s warmth into your palms, or hum a low tone and feel its vibration along your ribs. Keep a tiny journal of sensations and the choices that followed; over time the language of your body becomes a map.

Approach each whisper with gentle curiosity and reverence. The body is not merely vessel but priestess, translator, and guide—bridging the mystical and the mundane. Attend to it, and the mystery will begin to speak in clearer, kinder ways.
