As we become more conscious, our perception expands. Often, this awareness helps us sidestep obstacles, yet sometimes we still walk straight into a challenge with blinders on.
Temporary spiritual blindness serves many purposes—it helps complete karma, builds compassion, and guides us to explore facets of ourselves we might otherwise avoid. Rather than viewing these moments as mistakes, we can see them as sacred opportunities for awakening.
Prior to my own awakening, I jumped from one bad marriage into another exactly like it, only worse. I was blind to the similarities until it was too late. That misstep cost me two years of my life experience, yet it was also the catalyst that changed everything. It forced me to find an inner strength I didn’t know existed and taught me to honor my own integrity. Ultimately, this experience turned me toward the Divine—toward magic, joy, and expansion. What once felt like failure became the turning point of my life.
I often use the term highest good in sessions. To me, it simply means what is most appropriate for one’s journey in this moment—not necessarily what is easy or fun. The highest good reminds us that we are always exactly where we need to be, with the tools to face whatever stands before us.
May you trust your path even when it feels uncertain.
May your blind spots reveal hidden light.
May your so-called mistakes reveal your courage.
And may you always remember—everything ultimately serves your highest good.
