Making the ordinary extraordinary

Your life experiences change as you are transformed.

\”A life of equanimity and appreciation is lived in the immediacy of the present – not in the mind.\”
~Ezra Bayda~

Our lives, upon awakening, are filled with much of the same tasks we experienced prior to awakening. We still work, play, pay bills, prepare food and care for those we love while we seek our higher levels of consciousness. To the outsider, it may not appear especially enlightened; however, tasks that were once done only out of necessity now become expressions of joy in the present moment.

Rumi wrote, \”Wherever you stand, be the soul of that place.\” To me this speaks of silence, empowerment and peace. Our role is to bring a new quality of energy to all that we do. Your spirit can lift up the energy of those around you. An awakened spiritual seeker can transform the mundane into the ordinary because of the light that shines through them.

Today my intention is to bring sacredness to all that I do.
