The Potential Within

Love Comes in Many Forms

Minky was pure love.

She greeted everyone with joy — an unguarded, radiant presence that asked nothing and gave everything. In ways both seen and unseen, she played a profound role in my healing work. Her energy softened spaces, steadied hearts, and for all those who knew her, she taught what unconditional acceptance feels like.

Familiars incarnate again and again to walk beside us, assisting us throughout the arc of a lifetime. They come as partners to be love.

Minky was that soul for me.

This was my third time, so far, sharing life with her essence. I recognize her not with my mind, but with my whole being. And I know — with quiet certainty — that she will come again when the time is right.

For now, we helped her pass as peacefully as we could, surrounded by love, presence, and gratitude. And now, we let her rest. Even guides need to lay their wings down for a while.

She was so loving.
It doesn’t surprise me that she died of an enlarged heart.
She lived with it wide open.

If you are reading this and thinking of an animal who has walked beside you — past or present — know this: the love you shared was never small, never accidental, and never lost. These beings choose us as much as we choose them. They teach us devotion, presence, and how to love with an open heart.

Take a moment, if you feel called, to remember them.

Speak their name.
Feel where they still live in your body.

Blessing:
May all beloved animal companions — those here, those beyond the veil, and those yet to come — be honored for the guides they are.
May their love continue to move through us, softening our hearts and reminding us of what truly matters.
May we recognize them when they return, and may we love them just as fully, every time.

Rest now, sweet Minky.
Until we meet again. 🤍🐾
