“I always say, don’t be a Christian, be Christ-like. Don’t be a Muslim, be Mohammed-like. Be Buddha-like. Emulate these great spiritual Masters and what they were teaching.”
~Wayne Dyer~
Mastery is taking complete ownership of our state of consciousness in the present moment. It’s not enough to play a role or gather with others who wear the same label. We must live our values authentically and consistently. As we awaken, we become more aware of the mechanisms of the ego. This is the work of a lifetime, though eventually, we drop reactivity and move into love more often.
Consider the greatest challenges of your life and what navigating them has taught you. It’s likely that you’ve cultivated tools and viewpoints that bring you greater peace, or stepped away from dysfunction altogether.
This transformative energy is the entire point of our exploration into humanhood. Ultimately, we discover that love resides at the core of all things. When we choose to accept another exactly where they are (even if we don’t particularly agree or enjoy it), we create space in which transformation can occur.
No matter where you find your inspiration, choose to infuse it into every aspect of your life experience.
