Life is life. Its rises and falls, openings and contractions, create a living playground of discovery. Each of us views the world through a unique perspective, shaped by what we have learned and gathered throughout the unfolding of our lives. Perhaps we would be well served by considering that every experience is sacred.
For those walking a spiritual path, the word sacred is used often. Familiarity, however, does not diminish its truth or lessen its power. When you choose to meet life through the lens of awareness, even ordinary moments begin to reveal something more. A stubbed toe in the dark may become an unexpected invitation to presence, patience, or even laughter.
Mysticism is an awareness of wonder. It allows us to hold one another with compassion and acceptance while leaving enough space for each person’s healing and inward journey. We can offer love without taking over the lesson, and support without deciding what another person’s path should become.
Karma has a way of arriving when the circumstances are ripe for our growth. The same patterns may return wearing different faces, offering another opportunity to respond with greater wisdom. When we pay attention, everything becomes a teacher: joy, disappointment, beauty, discomfort, silence, and surprise.
