  • This Sacred Gift

    \"\"

A man is ethical only when life, as such, is sacred to him, that of plants and animals as that of his fellow men, and when he devotes himself helpfully to all life that is in need of help.

    ~Albert Schweitzer~

True ethical practice requires reverence for life. Within this concept lies freedom. When we can see everything as One – interconnected, sacred, beautiful, and valuable – we enter the realm of love.

You have been prompted to be here now, reading these words. Are you ready to explore the core of your innate goodness and embrace life as it is? While often messy or frustrating, there is a dance of awakening occurring on a deeper level. Can you feel it?

Sometimes the idea of residing in the frequency of unconditional love and acceptance can seem an impossible task. If we desire to be accepted as we are, we must first demonstrate how that appears in the world of form. Remember, the soul desires connection.

Choose to treat everything and everyone in your experience as sacred. Bring the light of awareness to your interactions, great or small. Be kind  and empowered. At the end of the day your heart will be at peace.

  • The Four Virtues

    \"\"

When you change your thoughts, you change your life experience.

Lao tzu taught four virtues that, when practiced consistently, provide a lasting foundation of inner peace and purpose:

    1) Reverence for All Life – When you live from the heart, expressing unconditional love for yourself and others, the light of consciousness will automatically flow into all that you do.

    2) Natural Sincerity – When you act with integrity, you can allow life to unfold as it will without doubt, regret or worry. Act with integrity, do your best, accept what is.

    3) Gentleness – Living a life of non-violence and giving up the ego’s desire to be right paves the way for authentic interactions. What would your life be like if you never argued or had inner conflict again?

    4) Supportiveness – Support yourself and others with kind and uplifting words, thoughts and actions. This beautiful nurturing energy brings the most empowered and peaceful aspects of yourself into your daily interactions.

The idea is to consistently work toward higher levels of consciousness such as Willingness, Acceptance, Reason, Love, Joy, Peace and Enlightenment. Expanded frequencies have a greater impact and, utilizing them, we can hold space for others – and that is the space in which a transformation can occur.

  • I Am Not Subject to Disappointment

“Attachment constrains our vision so that we are not able to see things from a wider perspective.”
    ~Dalai Lama~
Life ebbs and flows as it will. Humans, suffering from limited perspective, feel the need to fight against what is. The ego creates a story that plays repeatedly in the mind until one believes that things shouldn\’t be the way they are. Then disappointment sets in.
With this in mind we can view disappointment as a barometer. The level of discomfort is an indicator of how much attachment we have had to a particular idea, person, or item. Attachment causes suffering.
Fortunately, this is an energy that can be transformed into acceptance. The light of conscious awareness transforms all that it shines upon. Sometimes, the shift can happen immediately once the attachment has been observed and recognized. Then, we can begin the process of seeking the lesson in the challenge.
Everything works toward the highest good for all involved. Our limited vision gives us the situation as interpreted by the ego; however, the soul is always interested in expansion. Empowerment is acting from the heart and allowing circumstances to unfold as they will.  You are right where you need to be.
